24th Oct 2000 - Illusion Console takes pride of place in new installation
Since its launch at PLASA ’99, the Illusion 120 has proved to be a success in a range of sectors from television/museums through to small theatres and education.
R&G Theatre Services Ltd of Cinderford, Gloucestershire, recently won a contract to convert two halls into a Drama Studio and Concert Hall at the Springwood High School, Kings Lynn.
Zero 88 products featured in the fitting out of the twin venue and were selected by R & G for their suitability, rugged build, ease of use and its competitive price. An extremely tight delivery programme was a vital factor in the contract to meet the school’s target to have everything ready by the time term commenced.
With a time scale of just eight weeks from being awarded the contract to the school term commencing, delivery dates were promised and met by Zero 88 and contributed to the overall success of the project.
A total of ten Betapack 2 dimmer units were also supplied. However, the pride of place in the project has been the Illusion 120 control desk, chosen to provide for more ambitious creative lighting and training within the school’s Faculty of Arts. Its ease of use and Windows style operation made it an obvious choice for todays PC savvy students.
