24th May 2001 - Alphapacks used in new venture film project

Towards the end of last year Zero 88 supplied Birmingham based theatre company, “Rage Ensemble”, with an Elara desk and a number of Alphapacks.

For their final project of the year, the group decided to change tack and shoot a film. Entitled “The Release” the film was shot in the style of a documentary. The Alphapacks were used to provided the dimming for all the interior locations.

Owen Radmore from Rage stated, “The Alphapack is an ideal size and the fact that we could easily adjust the levels of each light with the sliders made it an ideal choice.”

The film has only recently been shot and is in the process of being edited for release. It will be shown at various festivals with a planned screening around Mid June.
