16th Jul 2002 - Leap Frog performs for Queen during Jubilee Tour in Newcastle

At a recent Royal Gala Concert at Newcastle City Hall as part of the Queens Jubilee Tour, Zero 88 Dealer Nitelites used a Leap Frog desk to control the lighting.

The desk was used to control an assortment of generic lighting (via Zero 88 Rackmaster 260 and Betapack 2 dimmers) plus 8 Mac 500 and 6 Mac 600 intelligent lights.

“Due to the limited amount of rigging and plotting time much of the show was run live off the submasters, certainly a "seat of the pants" job!” explained Nitelites’ Gordon Reay, “However the desk did its job and everything passed off without hitch”.

The concert was televised in the UK at the end of June on TTTV.
