5th Jul 2004 - Frog 2 and Jester feature at student event.
Wednesday 22nd June saw White Light host its second annual Graduates Day at its HQ in Wimbledon, UK. Aimed at anyone contemplating a design or technical career in the entertainment lighting industry, the open day featured guest speakers already working in lighting, seminars offering tips and explanations of lighting techniques and the chance to get 'hands on' with some of the latest lighting equipment.
The 30 budding lighting designers who attended the event heard Bryan Raven, Jason Larcombe, David Howe, Andy Voller and Jonathan Rouse talk about how they got into the industry, the various sectors of the industry and how to get involved.
After lunch, the students were then given demonstrations of a number of latest products including the Zero 88 Frog 2 and its new Jester console. Bryan Kelly of Zero 88 explains “Zero 88 has always been supportive of students within the entertainment industry as they represent our future. We welcome any opportunity to help, advise, educate and train those wishing to make lighting their career and White Light’s Graduate Day has been an excellent platform to help enable us to achieve that.”
