5th May 2006 - Dutch Theatre relies on Zero 88's professional dimmers

The 480 seat Stadsgehoorzaal Theatre, located in Kampen, Holland is the latest venue to benefit from Zero 88’s growing reputation within the entertainment lighting industry.

A total of 8 Spice dimmers were installed, providing 96 channels of dimming for the house lights in the theatre and the working lights. The Spice dimmers were in a fixed cabinet on an ELC network. These were linked to 2 ChilliNet panels that were used to provide local control different lighting states.

Mark Beens from Zero 88’s Dutch distributor Rolight, worked closely on the project with Lars Kempers, Head Theatre Technician at the venue.

“Choosing Zero 88 Spice Dimmers to install in the theatre wasn’t a difficult decision, their high quality performance and reliability were the main factors.” explained Mark. “The dimmers have been working flat out for six months on a variety of productions and we have encountered no problems whatsoever” he added.

The theatre has recently staged a range of musicals, opera, concerts and theatrical productions; a hectic schedule that has proven the quality and durability of the Zero 88 dimmers.
