24th Apr 2001 - FatFrog Competition winner collects his prize at the ABTT show

Following the successful launch of the Frog range of desks earlier this year, Zero 88 held a competition to win a brand new Fat Frog lighting console.

The competition spawned a great deal of interest, both online and at the tradeshows with worldwide entries and the lucky recipient of the desk was Dave Godin.

As well as being the Technical Manager for the Royal Opera House, Dave is heavily involved with activities in the education sector, providing training in lighting and staging.

Dave stated that owning a new Zero 88 Frog desk, “would be a valuable training tool for me to use, to introduce new people to lighting at many different venues.”

On the 3rd May, the Royal Opera House will be relaying “Othello” via an LCD screen to a free outdoor audience at the Piazza, Covent Garden and Dave anticipates using the Fat Frog for curtain calls on the stage in front of the screen.

Dave joined Zero 88 staff on the stand at the ABTT show to have a closer look at the desk and informed us that he was looking forward to putting the desk through its paces.
