DEALER UPDATE – MAY 2001News Story Photo

22nd May 2001 - May 2001 Dealer News

News

In our ongoing effort to improve the level of service to our dealers, May and June will see our sales department expand and the introduction of new faces.

Sales
As you are no doubt aware, Malcolm Davis left us for pastures new at the beginning of the month. Lorna Parsons will now be leaving the confines of the office to take over his responsibilities. Throughout June and July she will be winging her way up and down the motorway to introduce herself. To ensure good customer relations are built upon Lorna would like it known she is partial to chocolate chip cookies!!!

Beverley Jones, who is a familiar voice to anyone ringing into Usk House, will be moving away from Reception and will embark on a six month training course before moving into the Sales department.

Next month we hope to introduce you to yet another new member of the Sales/Marketing team, so watch this space.

Green Room
Work is still continuing on our web site with the expansion of our Green Room. It now contains a fortnightly quiz, a jokes page, a caption competition and some e-post cards. Go and try your luck at the competitions and if you have anything you would like included please contact Tim Burt at tburt@zero88.com.

New Dealer
We have recently appointed a new European dealer. Rolight Theatertechniek BV are based in Holland. They currently distribute throughout the Netherlands via six dealers. They have organised a dealer meeting at the beginning of June and Tim Burt will be visiting the event to lend a helping hand with product demonstrations.

Exhibitions
Graham Eales has recently attended the Calm Exhibition in Beijing, where there was a positive response to the Frog range of desks. The DeBug also generated a lot of interest.

Joint Venture
Zero 88 have appointed Martin Professional (H.K.) Ltd as a dealer to sell our products throughout China.

Warranty Repair
Our service department are still encountering problems with units being returned for repair without the correct documentation. As mentioned in last months update, to ensure that repairs are returned as quickly as possible it is imperative that as much information as possible is supplied.
