28th Jun 2010 - Neue Stadthalle Langen Germany
After successful refurbishment and renovation the Neue Stadthalle in Langen Germany shines in new light with help from Zero 88 and State Automation.
The Neue Stadthalle Langen offers a variety of different events in its new multi-functional venue including sell out concerts with Josef Liefers or Doro Pesch and Carmina Burana.
For dimming the Neue Stadthalle Langen chose modular dimmer racks with green APC (Advanced Phase Control) Technology from State Automation. The cost-saving "Green APC Technology" modules offer increased efficiency and up to 50% less heat than conventional dimming systems. Their slim profile was also a deciding factor with each of the three 72 way dimmer cabinets just 160cm wide.
State Automation’s dimmer monitoring system offers complete remote supervision and configuration of the dimmer cabinets. In addition to the simultaneous status monitoring (overload, load error, loss of the control signals, release of RCBO's etc.) the monitoring system for the Neue Stadthalle Langen was set up with user definable error messages, which are sent directly to technicians mobiles by text.
As well as an array of new conventional fixtures 10x VL1000 (with automatic shutter mechanism and CYM colour mixing) and 8x JB VARYLED 3*84 LED Wash lights were installed.
The ORB theatrical lighting console from Zero 88 was specified to control the conventional dimmer channels, LEDs and Moving Lights.
