Fat Frog - The American DreamNews Story Photo

26th Oct 2001 - Zero 88 ‘s Fat Frog continues to build on its success over the last 8 months, as more American LD’s queue up to get their hands on them.

Lightbroker of Burbank California, who recently sold four Fat Frog consoles, have been holding training seminars at their Head Quarters with Joe Cabrera of A.C. Lighting Inc.

Lightbroker initially were drawn to the Fat Frog consoles as they seemed to fill a gap in the market - moving light and conventional control, realistically priced that looks good and works well.

Lightbroker are targeting smaller production companies in particular, where a console, which allows them to control a small numbers of moving lights, is more suited to their needs. Larry Doerr of Towards 2000 rentals explained the enthusiasm surrounding the console: "It has always been difficult to rent a $600/week Hog with $600 worth of lights. We can now make a package more cost effective and profitable."

Lightbroker's first Fat Frog seminar was particularly well attended and future seminars are scheduled to run once a month. Attendees of the first seminar included: Ryan Somers, Kingsley Quan, John Hidio, Matt Lewis and James "Jimmie" Dolittle.
