Adam Leigh, Technical Manager of the Pegasus theatre in Oxford tells us about his recent installation of Chilli Dimmers, chosen to replace some ageing Betapacks.

“Lancelyn Lighting installed nine Chilli 1210 units in January this year and as soon as the install was complete, they went straight into action and proved to be no fuss whatsoever.

The Chilli's are extremely consistent, providing a nice linear curve and good response times to snap fades and long fades. The units are very neat and discreet with an easy to use control panel. My racks have the basic software so I can't speak of the Pro versions. The Pro packages sounds good on paper, and if the quality is the same as the standard versions then they are a very good package indeed for the price. I would recommend them to anybody.

As far as I can tell the install team had little or no problems installing them and I could probably vouch for them in saying that their straightforward design helped in many ways. Simple and discreet in design, straightforward installations characteristics, easy to use and reliable so far.

I turn them on, use them then turn them off. No bother. Lovely!”
