16 bit dimmer for bullfrog
We currently own a bullfrog desk and Pearl Rivers XL1200 moving heads. The heads are capable of 16 bit dimming, but the desk doesn't seem to support this function. When creating the fixture file in the fixture editor, it will allow you to create a 16 bit dimmer, but when loaded on to the console it will not function. Please could this be a possibility. It's a shame that it will support everything else running in 16 bit but not the dimmer.

16-bit dimming is quite a complex function and would require a complete rewrite of the way dimmers are processed in the original Frog range software. This is unlikely to happen now that the product has been discontinued - we have added support for 16-bit dimming to the ZerOS consoles (Leap Frog 48, Leap Frog 96, Frog 2 and coming soon ORB), so if this is a requirement for you you might like to consider upgrading to a Leap Frog 96.
