Automatic Colour & FX palettes missing parameters for the "Prolight Equinox Fusion 260ZR"

Hi All (this ones aimed at the guys from Zero88).

We've just purchased some Equinox Fusion 260ZRs, when patching them into our desk (ORB XF) i've found that the "FX preset palettes" only operate the Centre pixel of the fixture and ignores the inner and outer ring of the head.

Is this a over sight within the fixture profile not controlling all RGBW parts #1 #2 & #3? or a "multicell" issue? (we haven't had time to update to 7.10 yet unfortunately and probably won't until post panto season).
I've updated the colour palettes to include all colour segments but is there a way to "update/edit" the FX palettes to include all colour parameters of the fixture without without running the latest update?

thanks
Steve.

This will be due to running ZerOS 7.9.x software or earlier. Software prior to ZerOS 7.10, does not support multicell fixtures, and therefore only the first set of RGBW controls will be applied to the colour mixing tools and colour effects.

Totally understand this. After panto season, you'll be able to update your console, and will find that the colour mixing tools and colour effects will work across all three clusters.

To do this, you would need to manually create an effect using the Waveforms engine, and add waveforms to the other RGBW parameters.

For more information on Waveforms, please see the link below...

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Are there any known bugs on the ORB with 7.10 for us to look out for in the new year?

These are the issues we are aware of in ZerOS 7.10 software on OrbXF consoles, that have been discovered since launch:

  • Viewing the Fixture Levels window can cause a crash
  • Encoders can sometimes not work correctly on linear multicell fixtures if their cells have been reversed
  • Channel Auto-Select on Fader Movement behaviour in Fixture Schedule is incorrect
  • Fixture parameter values are not included in CSV exports

These issues will be fixed in the next ZerOS software update.

I hope this is helpful.
