The couple of times it rebooted it continued as if nothing had happened!

Unfortunately I don’t know the zeros release buy can say it was at least two versions ago.

Thanks for the cue list I will try it next week when next on site.

Hi Edward,

Sometime ago our solution rebooted mid show (not during a cue change). We now have an flxs but decided to to check out the solution.

All connectors and pcbs etc have been reseated and it seems stable, but for testing the idea was to leave it switched on and check if it had reloaded.

The idea was to check when the solution was last booted up or reloaded.

Is there a log file in a solution which records time loaded and zeros version?

All cables refitted, factory reset carried out, last saved show ( after touch screen failed) reloaded. Screen calibrated, all now working!

Sorry, yes, external monitor with hdmi and usb connections.

Internal touch screen working ok.

Tried the calibration procedure but touch screen not working to allow completion of the procedure.

Our flxs48 touch screen has stopped working, display still working ok.

a mouse or memory stick work in top usb socket but not in rear, touch screen not working in either port.

Configuration? Any suggestions?

[Updating from Solution to FLX48]

We are about to update from a Solution to an FLX48s. Three questions.

 

1) Will Solution show files load directly to the FLX?

2) Can the Remote Switches be used on the FLX?

3) What adaptor is required to trigger the FLX via MSC (from Qlab)?

Thanks for your reply. 

The desk was "unmanned" at the time. No cues were triggered at the time of reboot.

By the time I saw the screen ( I was filming the show at the time) it was displaying the "normal" load sequence.

For info we have two monitors connected in parallel on the vga, could this prompt a reboot?

Our solution (running 7.11) has just rebooted mid show. OK during the previous 5 performances. Had been stable in the current state, no cue due when reboot occurred.

I have been in conversation with Keith who is just setting up a "test rig"

We are using a local made (some years ago and well used) switch box.

With triggers calling two macros and four "go to cue".

Have just upgraded our Solution to 7.9.9 (from 7.9.7). The Remote switches no longer work.

Reloaded 7.9.7 all OK. Upgrade again to 7.9.9 Remotes still fail.

Being stupid what have I missed ?

Also can the Remotes be tested in Phantom ?
