OK, thanks, need to spend more time with the desk, shame there is not a free visualizer with the PC software. Also, a question about Track Forward. If I want to add a lantern (intensity) earlier on in the stack and I want it to stay on for Cues afterwards is this what I use? Another problem I am having with PC software is that now when I try to load a show, I don't get anything patched. This used to work, not sure what I have done wrong. Thnks for all your help, Ben

Hi, seen how to record palettes on FLX, but FLX S24 does not have a colour button so how to do this on S24. Also wondering if there is a way of busking with pallets and not having colours snap. For example, going from Blue to red during a show using the pallets without programming a Cue. Looked at PDF and online web manual and can't find anything. Ben

Hi, so as SmartTag does not record 0%, how do I record a 0% with this enabled? Shame there is not an option to do this with SmartTag for intensity. Ben

OK, yes, I know all about tracking and terms lantern, fixture... And SmartTag. So to insert, I press Record, type cue no to insert, then tap the Cue button/Go? Have not found a video that goes through this. Only recording 0 makes sense as other things are irrelevant, so I will give it another go. Regards, Ben

Thanks, that's all great info. It turned out the desk was programmed for Cue Only (setup), not Tracked, and then I changed to Tracked and SmartTag (record Option), and things worked intuitively. There are a few other sections on this page (Tracking, Fixtures...), but I can't find anywhere in the manual that explains these? I also found the Copy (on Z/Shift), and it worked great. The one thing I struggled with was setting a fixture to 0, which seems this did not get saved (i.e. when I set a fixture to 0, which was on this did not get saved when I recorded the next Cue. Is there a way to insert a Cue between 2 existing ones? Thanks for all your help Ben

Thanks for the info. The manual bit on releasing playbacks (apart from Master Playback) says "To release all the playbacks (and UDKs on FLX), except the Master Playback, hold [Clear] and press the [Fader Funct] button. " Is [Fader Funct] the buttons below the faders? So each has to be cleared separately? It does say to delete all playbacks, not a playback, but it could be confusing English. So is there a way of releasing all playbacks by pressing a cople of buttons (except master playback). I have SmartTag enabled (I pressed and held down [RECORD]). SmartTag is enabled, and tracking is set to Cue Only. Is this correct?

Sure, I am missing something, but sure I am missing something. Often after programming a cue in a playback, when testing the playback other lights seem to come on when I go to cue. Also, is there a way of stopping all playbacks running (kind of resetting the desk without turning it off/on)? There are a few of us using the desk and I think we must have our workflow wrong and we are all finding it a bit frustrating. Ben

LOL, I posted here as I thought UI was taking up too much of kgallens time and thought ide take another approach, will chack bak there.

With our old Alcora desk, the Grand Master affects all fixtures that are set (if I have all faders to 0 except 1-3 the grand master affects only 1-3. With our FLS S24 Master Payback (which I think has been setup as Grand Master) changes the level of ALL fixtures, regardless if they set to 0 or 100% or anything in between. Is there a way to get the Master PLayback to behave like the Grand Master on the Alcora.

Is it possible to get these anywhere?
