Alright first of all, thanks. I meant impedance, for some reason I wrote resistance, oops. I talked with the one responsible for the tech we work with and he told me that its all 'High quality microphone cables' from Stagg. If I understood correctly, they just made a massive order and because we *mostly* work with sound as many of the lights are build-in, they never bothered to buy DMX ones. I guess because its always a hastle to buy things for a school (legal stuff, since its the states money). I suppose we haven't had any big problems, I guess maybe because our lights aren't crazy special ones.

Hello again, so recently I found out that the existing cables in the school where I work with lighting and sound sometimes, has mixed xlr and dmx cables. The 'build in' lights in the auditorium are definitely dmx' as they've been done by a third party. But all other cables have been used for both sound and lighting. Now I know the difference between the cables is mostly their resistance, 120 ohm at dmx right? I read online that meters and measuring that level of resistance isn't as easy (and I don't think we got an ohmmeter). So is there a way to distinguish these two (is there a reason to?). And yea, all cables are 3pol. I kinda want there to be some order. Thanks Jan

Good Evening to all, I've recently seen some stuff about OSC and how it can be used (not particularly on ZerOS) for variety of actions for example remote controllers like Gamepads or types of decks like streamdecks. It's not that I have a special occasion or need for it, but I was curious about it and how it can work on the flx s24 deck. The only thing I've seen is software like Companion for Streamdecks or TouchOSC for other things but I don't really know how I would go on from there. And yea just for the fun of it, is it possible to use game controllers as light controllers through OSC? Any helpful websites or guides I can check out there (that maybe don't require too much knowledge of networking beforehand (I'm working on that tho)) Thanks if anyone got something Jan

Yea I went through the manual and it doesn't seem to be designed for the FLX S, so that its available for the Watch thingy is kinda not right, at least for the FLX S. I saw Highlight working tho. But yea after clearing the programmer we weren't able to get the fixtures working again, besides the one selected throu Rem Dim. Idk, maybe that's just an individual problem or so. Solved it by basically not allowing my friend to use Rem Dim anymore, works fantastic. Thanks again to you all.

That's the thing, clearing doesn't undo it, nor deselecting or in that matter anything (at least when we tried). But i'll look into it, and maybe I'll come back here this evening

Thanks again, btw our project went smooth besides one or two small things. I hope no one minds me asking more on here. For some reason ZerOS Monitor works on Apple Watches even tho the only good function a friend found is Rem Dim. Nowww, i guessed it means like remote dimmer or so but the true problem is, the program for the watch crashes quite often and we haven't found a way to deactivate Rem Dim besides the watch feature - The keyboard shortcut on Windows didn't wanna work either. It ended in us having to restart the console multiple times throughout programming. So, what actually is it and does it, and how can I deactivate it without a force reboot? Hey again, little thing to ask again about the Monitor. (btw, got Remote working via Emulator thanks for providing the link) In the attached file 5 of the Briteq Theatres intensity are marked blue while one is green. Is that to indicate a change from the previous Cue? My first thought was, it indicates dynamic change of Int. in a Cue i.g. like a ramp up effect, but the theatres dont have any like that on in the Cue. This is no problem but im interested as for why this is. Jan

Alright thanks to you both, In my memory ZerOS Remote was just easier for remote programming and I've got a project where I'm not at the console while programming (and its easier to be remote there). I saw the keyboard shortcuts on ZerOS Monitor but with the Remote you had it on the display, like the syntax or the position grid. But I'm sure I'll figure something out.

Thanks! So to run a Monitor like app you have to do it through a Android Emulator? There isn't one for Windows itself?

Hello, I may be a little late for this, but what exactly was the reason for ZerOS Monitor to be removed from Android and ZerOS only funtioning on iOS? Is there another way of using external devices (preferably Windows) as a Remote? I Thanks up front. Jan.
