  1. Hi Can anyone tell me the dimensions of a Sirius 48? Thanks Si
  2. Hi, Kirkup_xp very kindly generated a fixture file for the Showtec sundtrip active DMX unit. Now, I load it into the Fat Frog (using version 9.8 software btw) and assigned it its DMX channels no prob. Trouble is, I cant get it to do anything. Default value is 255 for all lamps. How do I change the brightness, program it etc? Confused and I am programming a show tomorrow! Any help much appreciated. Si
  3. Peter, Thanks very much for your help really appreciated - I look forward to trying it tonight. Si
  4. Hi all, Please help urgently. Doing a show from Wed onwards and need a fixture importing. I have the fixture editor downloaded but cannot get my head round how to do this fixture. Basically its a unit with 10 lamps in, each individually adressable via DMX. How is this acheived? TIA Si
  5. Grand master would affect all outputs. EG, you had a chase running on a sub and wanted to flash a particular channel. Grand Master wont help you.
  6. Anyway of utilising one of the faders to be a flash master? I find it particularly annoying that there is no control over brightness for channel/submaster flashes. Cheers Si

    Topset

Hi, I was wondering whether there was an easy way to allow access to the Topset levels on the Fat Frog. Very often when working live (or even on a pre-programmed show), you need a quick method of topsetting as the memory has been programmed with something that really doesnt look good or a lamp blows on one circuit and the other one still works etc. On the Illusion, you press the Topset button and set your level, this takes a mere seconds. On the Frog, you have to go to Super User mode and topset (I seem to remember) - and this takes tens of seconds. Any plans to put this feature into the next release?
  8. Hi, Got 4 fixtures, 48 generics. How do I go about programming brightness into memories? I can get the fixtures to dim ok but when I get to the start of the memory stack, all fixtures brightness are off even though when I get to the next memory this should dim them up but doesn't!!!! This is most confusing and I am obviously doing something wrong Also, can I copy fixture brightness to a submaster as the wheel does not allow smooth dimming of fixtures. TIA Si
  9. Hi, I use an Illusion 120 and recently delved into the area of macros. On a show night before the audience come in, I go through each channel fading them up to 100% to verify that they are ok (as a lamp is more than likely going to blow when it is cold). Is there a way to setup a macro to go through each channel and fade up to 100% and fade down again? If not a macro, maybe some other automated way of doing it? It becomes hard work when you have over 50 channels to go through!! I tried doing it but could not get lamps to fade up, just come up to full straight away which increases the risk of blowing the lamp. Thanx in anticipation. Si
