[Sirius 24 fader cleaning]

I need to clean the faders of my Sirius 24 . Most of them are "sticky" , they still work but are not sliding smooth .

Any suggestions on what to use . I know that ordinary contact spray is not a good solution .

[Sirius 24 Master/slave]

I'm I right in assuming that once 2 desks are connected as master/slave you use the memorybank of the master desk and the slave desk are "just" 24 extra channels giving a total of 48 channels .

 

I know from a previous question that both desks need to have a dmx module and need to be both connected if dmx is to be used .

 

There is very little to find on master/slave usage on the internet ( or the manual of the sirius24 )

The manual states that there is (was) a 8pin din cable to link 2 desks . I assumme these are no longer available . Is it possible to make one myself and how's the pinout .

 

Also , is it always possible to fit a dmx module to these desk ? I'm thinkin of buying another one but it has no dmx build in ( I have a spare module on the shelf ) .

Another question came to mind . Can I use the DMX and 0-10v output at the same time ? Meaning , 0-10v for my dimpacks the are analog , and DMX for scannners , movingheads , strobes , ......

I recently got a Sirius 24 ( + a second one for spares ) .

As far as I can see , there should be dmx inside . I was wondering if this has been fitted standard or not .

Serial n° are : 0048000 96440026 and

0048000 96440005
