wilsoak Posted July 11, 2005 Report Posted July 11, 2005 Run on Fat Frog s/w 9.8 I have on several occasions lost the generic elements of the Submasters. The fixtures still function ok as programmed. After loading show all ok, then 10-15 mins later no generics ! Am I going mad or is their a way of inhibiting "generics"operation after programming that I am triggering?
Paul Posted July 12, 2005 Report Posted July 12, 2005 Some thoughts... You've not got a long fade time set on the submasters have you? The default is currently 3s, which sometimes causes confusion/annoyance. Are you changing submaster pages, hence the faders may be active on a different page to the one displayed (page overlay)? Is it always the same submasters, or always on the same submaster page? Does the loss of submasters occur after a power down of the desk? Finally, and I know this is probably a silly question, but it's not the Grand Master or Blackout is it?
wilsoak Posted July 13, 2005 Author Report Posted July 13, 2005 Paul - thanks for the reply. 1 - My default times were 1's. 2 - I was using sub master pages 1 to 10 (all zero before changing page) 3 - occured on all pages 4- If grand or blackout "on" fixtures would have also been off
