Guest Sarah Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 This is probably a really stupid question but how do you connect a monitor to the Frog? Our school's IT technician said there wasn't the right connector when he tried? Is it just that you need a different connector? Thanks for any help in advance, xx
tk11de Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 Hello Sarah, what kind of Frog-console do you have? I guess it depends on the type of console! Greets Thomas
lighting_princess Posted April 13, 2003 Report Posted April 13, 2003 Its a straight forward Frog!!? We're not lucky enough to have any of the newer flashier desks Sarah
Paul Posted April 14, 2003 Report Posted April 14, 2003 You need a VGA monitor like those used on PC's, with a 15-way 3-row D-type connector. Was your technician looking for a socket for a PAL TV monitor perhaps? Some of the very early Frogs shipped did not have the monitor socket fitted, as this was an upgrade that we introduced several months after the range was launched. If you have one of these desks then you need to purchase an upgrade to get the monitor output. Contact Zero 88 Technical Support for further information (01633-838088, mailto:techsupp@zero88.com).
