shaybi Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 Hi, We have been using the Rack-6 Dimmer, but we have some problems, which I am going to list here down. How the dimmer DMX address are configured? Can we configure the DMX address of our own choice? How do we configure the DMX address in the Martin Light Jockey For MAC500 (2/4 mode)? We did configure the DMX address but it automatically takes the addresses & only one of the lights lit while the others remain off until there addresses are not selected in the Dimmer front screen. Please provide us a step-by-step procedure that how we configure a DMX address in the Dimmer & in the light jockey for operating MAC500 or any other Light device.
Paul Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 The details for setting the DMX start address in the Rack6 are covered in the operating manual, download here. If you are having problems with the dimmer not behaving as expected, it would be worth doing a reset from Super User to get the dimmer back to the factory default state first. Again details are in the operating manual. I'm slightly confused about why you mention the MAC500 in the same posting. I really hope you're not powering the MAC500 through the Rack6...
