saving shows

We are trying to save a show, on a fat frog floppy drive, to a floppy disc but the MS-DOS formatted disc we put in just freeze the board up,We wanted a hard copy, do the floppy discs have to be a certain format or not :?:

Just a standard 1.44MB DOS floppy, that's all. If you're having trouble saving, try formatting the disk in the desk itself, that sometimes helps.

I have had my fatfrog freeze up to when not formatting the disk before hand and it always works after you format the disk.
