Rename desk channels

I think it is a good idea to have the oppurtuninty to rename the desk channels so that it is possible to see on hte output desk which channel you used and you know e.g. when you used the virtual desk on pc which channel is which par can and so you can create new shows on the computer!!! Please Correct me if this is already possible...
