storing one submaster into another

Hello everybody,

 

I'm new to this forum, not sure whether this was posted before, but searching the forum i didn't find it yet.

For a show last night i recorded one submaster (i'll call it A from now on, for better understanding) with about 30% intensity into another one ( B ), with some additional other dimmer channels. Now when i had B at full and wanted to increase A it would first go through black and then increase, as if it was not part of B at all. If i faded out A it would fade out completely and, as soon as the Fader was at 0%, the intensity would go up again to where it was from Fader B.

I run the desk in HTP and with smart tag turned off and even changed desk into LTP, but the problem was still there.

Please let me know what i can do to prevent this.

Do you have a show file for this situation? It sounds unusual - I'd like to try and recreate it here to work out what is going on.

When i wanted to record the showfile the problem was gone. Maybe restarting the desk did the trick.
