Betapack 1 and Avab Presto

I have a problem with Betapack 1 and Avab Presto.

We have some of the Betapack 1 and Robert Juliat dimmer. With Robert Juliat dimmer there is no problem, but with betapack must I go thru a Dmx tester (Espion Robert Juliat) to re-format the signal so the betapack can understand the signal. And the DMX tester said that there is no problem with the DMX signal from the avab presto. Is there something to do with the DMX KIT, does betapack DMX KiT understand the DMX signal in a different way than other dimmers?
