Remote Input jack socket

Hi all,

 

I am just new to the Jester and was wondering what are the actual deivces that you connect to the Remote input jack socket? I've searched the web and can't find any devices? Do you have to make your own trigger? Or am I being extremely dumb?

 

Please help if you can as our desk is getting some serious action and I am worried that if the PROGRAM/GO button breaks I have no backup!

The remote just needs a contact closure on the Jack plug, between the sleeve and tip of the connector. So any standard footswitch should be able to provide this. Alternatively, it's quite simple to wire a switch in-line and then you can choose whatever type of switch works for you.

PS - we do stock the replacement switch, should it fail. Part number is 5356600.
