  1. Oh!! I haven't got any moving fixtures - we're a secondary school!! So I wonder why I get the grey ones still.
  2. Thanks. Like the naming idea! What is "move on dark"? I've seen it referred to a couple of times but don't know what it means. I thought it was to do with those channels being "up next" but that didn't pan out as I went through the show.
  3. 3 qus re external monitor: 1. What do the colours mean on the channels part of the external monitor? I'm running a show on master playback and in among the reds and blues, there are lots of channels in GREY. What's that about? Are they in the next cue? We're they in the previous cue?? 2. Can the monitor be used to show what's coming up in master playback. I used to do this on my old Strand MX24. Really handy because I could tell at a glance what the next cue would be (eg snap blackout 3 Linked to above - can I reconfigure what the external monitor shows? Thanks!! Andy
  4. Thanks . How do I configure the Master playback shift function??
  5. When recording a show on Master playback, it's really frustrating that with each new cue the display goes back to the start. So when I've just recorded LX50 and want to check it runs correctly from 48 onwards, I can't seem to just go back one or two cues but have to scroll the screen from right back at the beginning. Or am i missing something?
  6. Thanks, Edward, No I haven't changed any settings on them - the "DMX" button on the menu says "linear" - as I say, I'm very new to LEDs. I've changed their addresses a number of times to no avail. Andy
  7. They are all LEDs - Ovation F55-FCs. Everything is set to 0, nothing else is glowing, just those particular lanterns.
  8. Hi there, I'm very new this whole LED lark. We have an FLX S48. I have half a dozen Ovation F55- FCs. When they are supposedly off, they continue to glow - since several of them are used for backlighting, this is quite annoying, as you can see the little bulbs glowing away even in a blackout (well, I can see them - hopefully my audience will be preoccupied with the action on stage!!). Any ideas? is this a board thing, or something to do with settings on the lanterns themselves? Thank you Andy
