  1. Hi Nico, I just referred to the Mambo Manual. You do have 999 Momories in total. These Memories may be single Scenes or Chases. But!!!!! The chases reduce the possible absolute Memories. i.e. 10 Chases with 99 steps each will use the whole memory capacity. All Frog desks operate with the same software!!!! Till yet it´s not possible to save an effect as Palette! I think it´s in the list "to be reviewed". Therefore you have to save a movement effect as a Memory. please keep in mind to set your desk in "Partial mode" . Then you`re able to save only the Position to a Memory. I hope this helps operating your MAMBO Cheers Sven
  2. ooops nicht eingelogged!!! hier nun auch die e-mail: paulsen@fischer-online.de oder hier im Forum
  3. Hi Morten, Well, by changing the fixture type, you will have to edit your palettes. It doesn´t matter that you are assigning the "same" fixture type, because you changed the assignment. Probably that´s a solution of your problem. You may program a Submaster with just the shutter closed and a zero value for brigtness(please remember, the desk has to be in partial mode and software vers. 8.1 is running). Then set the Submaster Buttons to "SOLO". Now you are able to shut your fixtures very quikly AND temporary. They only shutt as long as you push the assigned Submaster Button. After releasing the Button the last activated Program is played back again. Another problem I think is that you have programmed your memories with HTP fade times.I´m not sure yet, but I think even if you "pull" the Playback X Fader the fade time has priority. I hope this helps Cheers Sven
  4. Hi Littledesigner, You have to watch the program mode. Have you tagged the fixtures, you want to program to the choosen subs? And another thing could be, the Submasterbuttons are set to Solo.... Best regards Sven
  5. What about spending the money for "good vibes" cheers Sven
  6. Hi Jan, please confirm that your "Mambo" is in partial mode (refere manual chapter "Super User") Set your fixtures to Brightness 100%. Assign a Submaster. press and hold the Brightness Attribute Button and press the program button. Now the HTPs of your fixture is programmed on the Submaster as Live Data without any fadetimes. Cheers Sven
  7. Hi Jan, do you know which software version is installed on your greenone? :?: kind regards Sven
  8. Hi jan, you may do so. You have to set the shutter open(imagine it´s LTP), and only program the brightness(HTP) on the desired Submaster. The desk has to be in "Partial" Program Mode. Please refere to the Manual Super User..... Please watch the Button Function Key. It has to be set on "Flash" then all youre relating fixtures to this SubMaster will flash by pushing the Sub- Button. The shutter should be set to open by homing the relating fixtures. I hope this is of help. Cheers Sven

Hi mbchunky, I found some comparisons of MAC & Lee Rosco. I can send you these. Just send a Pm and you´ll get them. Cheers Sven
  11. Hi All, to follow GLX. What about creating a short cuelist, i.e. at cue 900- 902 (depends on the fixtures) for an reset. The first cue with all nessecary reset data for a requested period triggered as "go". And a second cue which sets the fixture(s) back to save values. That´s a kind of general working to all fixtures programmed in this cuelist. Especially for the High Ends What about working with preprogrammed Palettes. Shutter closed, Control channel to Reset level and so on. It works, you still have to do it manually. best regards Sven
  12. Hi Alex, ever tried to read the manual? 1. You should assign your scrollers as fixtures. There are a few in the library. Then you´re able to setup your dimmed luminairs with the scroller as one fixture. The scrollers work as LTP! They keep the colour till they receive another DMX value. The luminairs work as HTP. I prefer to work with palettes, but you don´t have to work with it. It makes live easier to program palettes. 2. Off course do the subs help to run different stage scenes! You may program them with so called "live data" without any fadetimes or assign memories to them. I hope this is of help. cheers Sven
  13. Hi all :-) another suggestion for the partial programming. I think it could be an even better tool to be able to save effects separated from the position. This is analog to the discussion about how far shall be the partial programming. It makes the desk a little more complicated but also gives a lot more flexibillity. I.e. you have a circle effect edited but once you´d like to let it run backstage and once centre stage. I hope this sounds not to weird!! Cheers Sven
  14. Hi folks, WYSWYG is nice, but pretty expensive. An alternative product of your choice could be the Avolites Visualiser, less expensive but without any working rendering. Ã am using it at the training lessons of the frog desks and it works fine! Please keep in mind:" This is NO Advertisement just a hint!!! Cheers Sven
  15. Hi GUSROCKS, ! It´s a little bit tricky but might work the way you want it. Try to edit a fixture as you said a studiocolor with the fixture edit tool, which you can download from the zero 88 homepage. You have to erase the dimmer channel of this fixturetype. Then save your edited fixture on a floppy and load into your frog. Now you should be able to patch the dimchannel of your fixture to a desk channel fader. I haven´t tried this yet, so please let me know it is working or not. cheers Sven 8)
  16. Hi Cassio...., did you check you check the chase step amplitude. Probably it´s not set to fade in/out. But I will try as soon as possible. Cheers Sven P.S.: Ist es bei Euch im Süden auch so schöööön grau?LOL
  17. Hi Janvh00, there are two ways of programming a movement. Thefirst one you described already.:-) But, you should keep in mind to set the speed not to fast for the MovingHeads. Another aspect, watch the attribute setting. You should have set the Position into Fade. The second way is to use the effectengine of the frogs. There you are able to define circle-, quad-, triangle- and ballyhoo moves very quick and simple. Well try it a few times and excercise yourself. A little hint. Also check the Fan Functions on the Offset and Rotation. cheers Sven
  18. Hi conference :-) that´s it! You should watch the position of your moving heads. If they have to move through the 128 dec. Value for the Tilt movement, then you will see the "8" movement. Try to keep away from this tilt value by using moving effects and you will have your problem solved. cheers Svenner
  19. Hi conference, one question. Which type of fixtures are you using? Moving Heads or Mirror scans? Cheers Svenner
  20. Hi, I think it´s a good feature, too. But, even some upper class high society desks are missing this feature. Probably you may work on the symptoms. I.e. I´ld suggest just prepare a show with only your individual palettes and some special moves programmed. Off Course you have to use the same equipment setup and patching like you teammates. I hope this helps a little bit quicken the programming time. Cheers Svenner
  21. Hi Peter, the Frogs are set in Full Mode as default. The mode can be changed in the "Super User" Menue. Which mode you are going to use depends on you. I.e. I´ld mostly use the partial mode to have the best flexibility during any show. But if you are working in a theater almost with long term shows, the full mode might be the one. In short form definition. The "Full" stores all values of all HTP & LTP which are set at the actual store action. Even "0" values of fixtures are stored. The Partial mode allows you to select what is progammed. This gives you the option to program memories who have just i.e. color values of selected fixtures as contend. I hope this isn´t explained to confusing. cheers Sven
  22. Hi Cassio...., the timecode option is implemented for the Frogbox. The Real Time option allows you to start memories at an exact time every Day. i.e. during an exhibition start cue No. 1 at 10°° . The cue brings up the whole Main Lights on the stand. And a Stop Cue at 6°° PM turning down the Lights automaticly. Cheers Sven And a happy frog year!
  23. Hi folks, I wish you a merry chrismas and a happy, successful, lucky, surprising, exciting.... new year. Especially to the Zero 88 staff, thank you!!! You did a great job! Cheers8) Sven
  24. Hi folks  after another Frog Training I had an idea about the chase speed live editing. It ´ll be a great thing to have a speed button assignable to the submaster flash button, if it is transferred a chase to the SM. Like it is solved on the Mambo Frog at the SX Buttons. By the Way. Why is the solo function of the SX-Buttons seperated from the Submasters? Cheers Sven
  25. Hi Lekengard, there is already a Fixture editing Software in download area. (CLICK HERE). You may build your personal Library for your favourite fixtures and set same Attributes on the same wheel. Probably this solves your problem. cheers Sven
