  1. Hi folks, Following on from my other thread, I have just got a request to do some effects with our lights, along to music. To explain a bit better: in the interval, build up, and wind down to a performance, we often have a random playlist of music to be playing. This can be absolutely anything in the world, so I can't really have a set playlist as such. What I would like to do however, is have many different states of lighting during this time, i.e all lights at red, blue, green, chocolate, pink, purple, etc etc, and then to fade between each other between each track. Is there anyway I can get a signal to the LeapFrog (from either a Mac, PC or Sound Console itself) to tell it that a song has ended, and another begun, to switch to the next state, as it were? This also raises another problem, how could I set all these states up, but just go round in a circle, and not effect my control of the Go button, so that Go will actually take me to the first scene in the play? I'm really regretting not coming up on the course now Peter! Many thanks, Adam
  2. Many thanks for this Peter, I'll load it on to the desk as soon as I get it. I'm just wandering if it will come with a fixture file for a certain moving light (yes, it's disco based, but the director doesn't care!). I shall let you know how I get on with it. I took a quick look at the OLE, and as we have an Alcora, I'm expecting it to be really similar, just with the moving light and submasters added (as well as many other things I'm sure I'll soon find). Thanks for the help.
  3. Hi folks, I've recently obtained a quote from a company to take some Rainbow Par's and a Leap Frog 48 console, but wondered how the console is going to handle them? I know I should have asked them, but going to the console makers seemed like a better idea ;-) Will each of the different colour lanterns just be handled like any normal generic fixture, or will it have a 'personality' as such, so that in depth colour mixing, like you would on an LED, for example, can take place? Many thanks, Adam
