  1. i have found a Strange behaviour on updating an Memory.

Situation: LeapFrog 48, Software Version: 2.15

I have programmed a Cue 1 (Channel 36@100) Fade times to the next Cue No. 2 is 3 Seconds.

Now i have to update Cue 1 and add Channel 1-6 @ 50. So i go to the PGM Window. Push update (Cue only).

Now i start with Cue 1 by pressing go. cool - 1-6 are @ 50. Go to Mem 2 (black out) 36 fades in 3 seconds but 1-6 don't fade. they go off in 0 Seconds.

I have switched on Cue Only and Smart Tag. As soon as I change the Fade times in Cue 1/2 +1 sec -1sec it works correctly.

is there something I make completely wrong or is this not working right?

    Greetings - Carl

  2. If you follow the link in the Software Release post it will take you to the page where you can download any of the documents and software relating to the Leap Frog 48/96 .... CLICK HERE. The Release Notes are listed under Operating Manuals

shame on me... the only place i did not search... great - thanks

  3. I saw that a new Software Version 2.15 is released. Thats great - but i haven't found any release notes... what bug's have been solved and what new features / functions are there. Can you post these somere in the Forum?

And an other thing - it would be so easy if you have a Software Version - Emailservice. so that we get informed as soon as there's a new version - it's easier for me ;-)

thanks and have a nice day

  4. Hi Ismael

I'm not sure - new to the Leap Frog - but i saw on Page 50 of the Manual (Version 2.0!) that

where a DMX-IN Dimmer exists only on the DMX-In, the default fixture number will start at 1001 onwards...

don't ask me what it means - but maybe it helps you?

    Greatings Carl

  5. It would be nice to select / deselect a fixture on the preset faders if i don't have to change the global flashsettings to off/select. So could I just press shift + flash button of the preset fader to select / deselect the fixture(s)? Also see here Adding Fixtures

It would be easier if we control the brightness on the preset faders to chose the right one during a show. Thanks a lot.

  6. Just little thing - we bought a new LeapFrog48 and a few day ago it was sent to us. But it had an old operating software version. It was something about 1.36 so the newest in Version 1 would be 1.37. But there was already Version 2 released. Is there a special reason why you don't ship it with the newest Version? For the Customer it would be easier if the desk comes with the newest version.

  7. I am not shure - maybe i am wrong...

I add a new Fixture like Mac250. I chose a MFK and fader 48. So I can control the intensitiy direct with the fader and i don't have to use the intensitywheel on position. If i'm duing so - the Mac250 doesent work right. I only can control the intensity but not the position, color,... if im just using a MFK it's working fine. Is this a bug or is it a user mistake ;-)

Thanks for help. Greatings from Switzerland - Carl

  8. Hi there

I had to work on a Sirius 250 and i tihnk that the feature if you push sumaster up and submaster down the same time that you jump to page 1 is very usefull! Maybe it's also possible to edit it on the illusion 120 and the other modells?

    Thank you

  9. it's only the name... i can send you the show or one of thoses shows... it's in every show we make... but chanaldata, fadingtimes are still saved. well as fare as i think... but i will try it tonight. tell me where i can send the file to.

    Thanks for your Help!

    Greatings

  10. I am not sure if it has been listed somwhere else already... if not: here is a bug:

if i name a submaster it doesn't save the information. As soon as i have switched off the desk and switch it on they are no more there. also if i save the show on a disk it doesen't come back unfortunately.

Hope you can fix it

  11. Hi everyone

I found a thing that might be a little bit unuseful (for me! Maybe also for others...) situation: during a show (on the go playback, screen prog. memories follow) i should change some lights... if i press edit live it opens the next memory! especially if this next mem is a black (!) it's very bad! would it be useful that the button edit live edits really the live playback (which is active now).

How do others think about this?

Thanx and have a good time

  12. It would be an nice thing if there is a remote control to put channels on and off... this would help a lot during preparing a lightshow. We have often to work alone and we have to run all the time from the desk to the stage! Yes i know there is a DMX-Remote but it would be useful to go through the memories and sitting next to the Producer....

I hope you have an possibility to do this... and at this time also the question for an offline editor.... PLEAS! It would be very helpful!

Thanx and greetings to all.... Enjoy the PLASA in London....

  13. [save][memory][1][2][time][7/6][delay 5][information][the party begins][enter]

That would be great. Also the thing with swaping the up/down time.... i am also used to first up then down...

Is it possible to use shortcuts like ctrl c for e.g. channelinformation, ctrl t for time and so on…. So I can get faster access to the things I am looking for and we have more Keys on the illusion 120/240 and also 500… so there are many new possibilities

Zero88 can design a keyboard with more options than only letters and time. See the link to the finalcut keyboard for MAC
