A Couple Of Suggestions...

Hi - a couple of things have annoyed me during my first show with our new leapfrog 48.

1. How about a "clear fixtures" setting in the "clear" menu? That way I could return my desk to "neutral" without having to manually clear fixtures, same as I can already do with palettes etc. Auto menus are very cool, by the way!

2. The "save show" screen would be better if it would allow you to select from saved shows already on the USB stick, rather than having to remember what you called it (if you save periodically while programming, which I do).

3. The desk won't boot with the (Zero-88 supplied!) USB drive plugged in. Is it necessary for any reason to attempt to boot from the external before the internal drive? Could it be the other way around to avoid this minor but irritating issue?

4. Lastly, how about a "custom" desk lock where you can select which features/controls remain active?

However still liking the leapfrog better than the new strand palette, which I also auditioned...

cheers

1. What are you attempting to do by clearing the fixtures ? By 'neutral' do you mean clearing all the memory, submaster, palette data and the patch ... in which case use the [Reset Desk] option ... or do you mean something else ?

Sorry, not very clear. I'm just wanting to clear all programmed fixtures, in the same way as I can clear palettes (for example) without having to go and delete them all, but without having to do a desk reset.
