DMX trouble Lightmaster XL

Hello!

 

I have a small problem with my over 10 year old Lightmaster XL. It was conected to a DMX dimmer that was broken. I think the dimmer sent power to the DMX on the lightning desk.

 

The desk will not send any DMX more. Is there any chanse to change some IC´s or something to get it to work again? Are there any safty IC´s?
