  2. Thanks @Davidmk. I’m home very late due to needing to take a 60+ mile detour to get home (don’t ask… Highways Agency, I mean you…). I’ve read the whole of that other thread again. Wow, that was a corker, I seem to have blanked that one out! In the Reddit discussion, for me it comes down to default of white maybe with a bit of release on lower config thrown in to confuse things more. @Veit0r sorry it will be tomorrow earliest before I can take a look on my FLX (at least you have an FLX S unlike on the other thread). In the meantime if you’re able to try out some of especially @Davidmk‘s suggestions hopefully you will beat me to a solution…

  4. Default to white issue, done to death in this thread.
  5. Thanks @Veit0r I’ll try and take a look tonight.
  6. Hi, thanks for your attempts and quick answers attached the showfile. On Playback fader 13 there is one cue. If you raise it, and lower it again, you can see channels 4 and 5 going to 255. raiseandlowerplayback13.zos
  7. (For background for other experienced users/contributors on here, I’ve tried to help out with this one on Reddit and it seems the issue still exists - any other ideas/what did I forget etc, thanks!). @Veit0r if you could save your showfile and upload it here we can try and debug on our own desks and try our best to understand what’s going on and get you a solution - as you showed on Reddit this can be seen in the output screen as DMX values actually going out to the fixture. Thanks for posting on here (and in the correct sub forum!) where we’ve a chance of reproducing the problem.
  8. Hi, I already did a post on reddit but it didnt get me any further... I have the problem that my LED fixtures (in this case some ROXX eShow TW+ and SGM P5s) switch back to RGB Values 255,255,255 when the trigger release threshold is triggered. You can see it in the Video attached to the reddit post. I recreated the whole thing in PhantomZerOS and brought it down to a simple one fixture, one cue setup after a factory default but cant still fade a color cue out without a flash to white at the end. I reset the desk completely to factory defaults. one fixture, one cue with color red. cue fade times (the play/pause button) are all set to zero. global fade times and defaults are also on zero (setup->defaults->default cue times) I set the home and default values of the one fixture to color 0,0,0 (selecting the channel/fixture set the three color rotaries to 0, make sure they're highlighted blue->Update->home with bulp icon->home and then the same with default. Still, my created cue (or a new one based on the set defaults) with just the color red works and goes to 255,255,255 when it reaches the trigger/release level. I can see it in the DMX Output window by pressing Z Button. If I got it right, if those were the defaults, they would show up in yellow in the output, but they're shown blue. Where do those values come from? I also tried editing the default values via the fixture editor on the console, also without the desired effect. I just want to fade simple color cues with different faders without any flash(fast or slow) to white below trigger/release level. Setting the trigger/release to 0 doesnmt work either. Please help! I went through the documentation, videos and reddit. I spend many hours, what am I doing wrong here with such a simple cue?

  10. Thank you KGallen 😀
  11. View+<master Go> or View+<button under a fader> will move you around to view each playback. https://www.zero88.com/manuals/zeros/cues-playbacks/cues-window
  12. Thanks Kgallen, I wil try tomorrow Does that mean that I can switch between a playback that is recorded on a fader and the cue list in the master playback ?
  13. Press View+Master GO ?
  14. Hello, I can't see my master playback screen. Instead I see always get Playback 73 ( Chase) screen What's wrong ? regards Kees
  15. So true.
  16. I think your link was fine. When I tried it again it went straight to the right page. Phone browser weirdness maybe! with the manual I think you *have* to know it’s there somewhere. The Search just doesn’t work for me, it finds too much stuff and too much unrelated stuff…
  17. You're welcome. Just pleased I was close enough to help. Sorry about the link - I had it on the screen in Chrome and copied it in, no idea why that didn't work. It's always easier to find stuff in the manual if you already have some idea of how to do it. 😁
  18. Thanks for your help. Both links worked. I didn't know about pressing the position button a second time...I only have the old manual for the ORB XF from 2011. Next time I'll also look at the manual from the link in your reply. Have a nice week. Greetings, Goofy

  20. When I tried David’s link it wouldn’t show the page as it thought the console was FLX S24. Posting this link just in case the above doesn’t work: https://www.zero88.com/manuals/zeros/palettes/advanced-palettes?filter=3
  21. Loading a full showfile on the real console or into Phantom ZerOS should load everything, especially the patch!
  22. Visualisation software is complex, it’s not easy to offer for free (unless it comes with a console that costs £20,000-plus). I’ve got a Capture Solo license. It integrates tightly with FLX consoles (bidirectional control). But the Solo license is about £300 I think. Track forward will apply the update you make to all following cues until a cue is reached where the fixture is given another instruction. e.g. - Fixture 7 is set to 50% in cue 4. Fixture 7 does not change until cue 12 where it gets set to 80%. Fixture 7 is currently tracking from cue 4 through cue 11 (cue 5 thru cue 11 will show in purple in the output window). - In cue 5 you do an update to fixture 7 to make it 60% and you track forward. The result is fixture 7 is still 50% in cue 4 but in cue 5 through cue 11 the new update value of 60% applies. In cue 12 fixture 7 goes to 80% as before. Hope that helps.
  23. OK, thanks, need to spend more time with the desk, shame there is not a free visualizer with the PC software. Also, a question about Track Forward. If I want to add a lantern (intensity) earlier on in the stack and I want it to stay on for Cues afterwards is this what I use? Another problem I am having with PC software is that now when I try to load a show, I don't get anything patched. This used to work, not sure what I have done wrong. Thnks for all your help, Ben
  24. On the assumption assumption that you are running ZerOS and the process is similar to ZerOS on FLX... On FLX, after pressing Record you press position again then, in the record options window, you turn off SmartTag, tap/click the Beam button until the stripe is green then you tap/click the pallette you are recording to. The pallette should have the letters B and P on it after recording. The process is described under Advanced Pallettes in the manual. Apologies if this is no help - I've only used FLX, never had the pleasure of an Orb.
  25. Hello I have a question about saving positions in a palette. When I move a moving head to a specific position and change the zoom, and then save it to the Positions palette, it only saves the position, but not the zoom (beam shape). I've tried many options in the Record window, but to no avail. However, if I move to the position, adjust the zoom, and then save it to the position via Update, it includes the zoom. Why doesn't the console save both parameters (position and beam shape) in the Positions palette? Greetings, Goofy Translated with Google from German to English
  26. On S24/S48 many of the buttons are ‘soft’ at the top of the touch screen. To busk and avoid snaps in general, go into the Z screen and enable Programmer Time with the 5secs or whatever value you want. This video will be useful
  27. SmartTag will record 0% intensity. That’s the one thing it definitely does. What it won’t do is record changes to other parameters at the same time. If you want to record other parameters changes (or the classic Effect Off) at the same time as the fixture goes to 0% then turn off SmartTag for that record operation - remembering to turn it back on for the next one (you can just hit record, turn it on then hit record again to clear the options box without actually recording anything).
  28. Hi, seen how to record palettes on FLX, but FLX S24 does not have a colour button so how to do this on S24. Also wondering if there is a way of busking with pallets and not having colours snap. For example, going from Blue to red during a show using the pallets without programming a Cue. Looked at PDF and online web manual and can't find anything. Ben
  29. Hi, so as SmartTag does not record 0%, how do I record a 0% with this enabled? Shame there is not an option to do this with SmartTag for intensity. Ben
