  1. I'm very pleased to hear that everything is working fine for you. We have been working hard to ensure that issues reported here get resolved as quickly as possible, and it's always good to hear that we found the right ones! Peter
  2. Hi Glenn I would recommend using Edit Fixtures to alter the patch of the dimmers. To do this, press SETUP, then EDIT FIXTURES. Select the dimmers you want to repatch using the flash keys underneath the channels (the LED will light to show that the channel is selected). Now move to the PATCH tab on the monitor and set the patch using the on-screen controls (the DMX column and duplicates if required). Once completed, press the OK button in the Edit Fixtures window to exit Edit Fixtures and then press SETUP to exit SETUP. Your channels will still be selected, so press CLEAR twice to clear the fixture selection, and then you are ready to use your new patch. I hope this helps clear things up, Kind Regards,
  3. ZerOS Software Version 5.3.5 Released Zero 88 are pleased to announce the launch of ZerOS version 5.3.5 software for Leap Frog 48, Leap Frog 96, Frog 2 and ORB. The following are now available from the Support centre: New desk software (ZerOS 5.3.5) Offline editor software (Phantom ZerOS 5.3.5) Version 5.3.5 includes a number of bug fixes, and we would urge all users to upgrade to 5.3.5. A full list of changes together with bug fixes are available in the Release notes.
  4. Unfortunately this is a bug in versions 2.4 and 2.5 (reference JES-2964), that they do not properly convert showfiles created in earlier versions, resulting in the 'out of memory' error you have seen why trying to program new submasters. To work around this, you will need to perform a Reset Desk in Setup. Once you have reset the desk, the software should behave normally. This problem will be corrected in the next version, allowing you to load older showfiles properly from a USB stick. As for the fixture library, the library is stored on a separate memory chip inside the desk - deleting unused fixtures won't do anything of benefit on the desk. I hope this helps, Peter
  5. This is a problem with older Frog2 hardware not liking the pictures in the fixture library. You can work around this by installing an older version of the fixture library which does not have these pictures (fixture library version 20.00 is HERE). Unzip this, put it on a USB Memory Stick, and go to Setup -> Files -> Update Fixture File on the desk to install this library. This problem has been logged to be fixed in a future software release, reference number ZOS-2927.
  6. ZerOS Software Version 5.3 Released Zero 88 are pleased to announce the launch of ZerOS version 5.3 software for Leap Frog 48, Leap Frog 96, Frog 2 and ORB. The following are now available from the Support centre: New desk software (ZerOS 5.3) Offline editor software (Phantom ZerOS 5.3) Version 5.3 includes a number of new features and bug fixes. A full list of changes together with bug fixes are available in the Release notes.
  7. Hi Christian It could be a problem with your fixture personality - if you get a chance, please email this to me (peter.kirkup@cooperindustries.com) - I'll take a look and let you know if there is something amiss in the file. Kind Regards, Peter
  8. Zero 88 are pleased to announce that our support forum has now been upgraded to the latest version of software. During the upgrade period the forum was unfortunately taken offline, however normal service should now be resumed. Please bear with us over the next few days as we adjust the settings in this new software version and customise the style of the forum - if you notice anything odd, please don't hesitate to let us know (peter.kirkup@cooperindustries.com).
  9. Hi Christian Which fixtures were you using? With Smart Tag enabled the desk should store all non-default values - did your fixtures have inverse brightness or something which might be confusing the desk? Cheers, Peter
  10. Hi Ivan The Macro is recording button presses, so it does need to go through all of the steps to create the output you see. As for the speed of the macros, we will look at making this user definable in a future software release - some macros need to run slowly to allow the desk to catch up with the processing of commands internally. I hope this helps clear things up Kind Regards Peter
  11. Hi Metalmedia The Leap Frogs are tracking desks, which mean they program only the changes between one memory and another. Therefore the contents of memory 33 may only contain certain of the channels required to create the scene you see on stage (the channels that changed between memory 32 and 33, for example). Therefore when you copy memory 33 to later on, those same instructions are repeated but the overall scene doesn't look as you would expect. To make a copy of the *scene* of memory 33, do the following: Run Memory 33 Enable "Smart Tags" under Special, Page 1 on the MFKs Select the new memory number Press Record I hope that this helps clear things up - if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to let us know. Kind Regards, Peter
  12. Hi Carl This does sound odd. Do you have a show file with the non-HTP submasters? As you say, subs should behave HTP on the Leap Frogs. Is this problem on standard dimmers or on fixtures? If you have a show file, i'd be most interested to try it out here - peter.kirkup@cooperindustries.com is the address to send it to. Kind Regards, Peter

Hi Dave That sounds odd - please give us a call on +44 1633 838088 and we will look through the options. It might also be worth trying version 5.2.2 which is the latest release. Kind Regards,
  14. Hi Fabi Do you have a show file for this situation? It sounds unusual - I'd like to try and recreate it here to work out what is going on. Kind Regards, Peter
  15. Hi Kondor Do you have a debug file from the crash? If so, please email it to peter.kirkup@gmail.com - this will help us identify what might have happened in your situation. Thanks,
  16. This bug was fixed in version 5.2.2 of software, which is on the website now. We have an upgrade kit available for the Frog 2 which brings its processor and storage up to date - Part No 0087699 - available from stock - contact your Zero 88 distributor for pricing information. Kind Regards, Peter
  17. Hi Piero We are working on a fix for this - reference number ZOS-2947. Keep an eye on the forum for updates. Edit: this has been fixed in release 5.3.5. Kind Regards, Peter
  18. Hi Richard Just to confirm, version 5.2.2 is out and is usable. The bug relating to the GO button only occured when you rebooted the desk after programming the cue stack, so at first it would appear to be working fine. So upgrading to version 5.2.2 of software should make your desk behave normally and have all the lovely new features Watch this space for even more! Peter
  19. Hi Bilderbuch This does look like it is a bug which has crept in. We have logged it in our fault database - reference ZOS-2882 - it will be fixed in the next release of software. We don't have any news on an iPhone remote at this stage, but will let you know when we do! Kind Regards, Peter
  20. Hi Mike I think we've been speaking about this via email too. It sounds like somehow your show file has become corrupted - if you boot the desk up with SHIFT held down on an external keyboard, you will get into a boot menu which allows you to clear out the current showfile and therefore get the desk booting again. Alternatively upgrading the desk software will also clear the show file. Upgrading in this situation should be problem free. I hope this helps, Peter
  21. ZerOS Software Version 5.2.2 Released Zero 88 are pleased to announce the launch of ZerOS version 5.2.2 software for Leap Frog 48, Leap Frog 96, Frog 2 and ORB. The following are now available from the Support centre: New desk software (ZerOS 5.2.2) Offline editor software (Phantom ZerOS 5.2.2) Version 5.2.2 includes a number of bug fixes to version 5.2 released last week, and we urge all users to upgrade to this version. A full list of changes together with bug fixes are available in the Release notes.
  22. Hi Carwyn This does unfortunately look like a bug which has crept into the software since we re-tested this functionality. If you'd like to downgrade to version 5.1, you can do that by clicking here. We are working on a fix for this bug at the moment and will post it online as soon as we can. Regards, Peter
  23. Hi Roger Is your Frog 2 an older-hardware version, or a newer one (does it have 1 USB port on the front or 2?) Thanks,
  24. Hi Piero Yes, you can, although we would recommend upgrading to 5.2.0 if possible. Regards, Peter
  25. Hi Glenn Here you go Regards, optirgb.ift
