  1. As your colour wheels move your going to see it! unless you set your units to dark while moving, in which case the shutter will close while the colour wheels move or your unit repositions. The only way out of it is to use some other unit ie pars as fills while the heads change colour.
  2. Could the name for the pallets appear on the LCD like the naming of subs, would save a mile of tape and leave more money for more Zero products 8O, when the pallets are locked.
  3. Would loops be a better name than shots, or is this some mad welch lingo
  4. If you dont mind, but whats the point of this function :?:
  5. With movement programmed to a sub the head still moves after the sub reached zero. Is this to be sorted, can live with it either way.

    Load Show

Why not install a floppy drive on your pc? they cost about 15euro the ribbon should be knockin around inside your pc, and the power supply has loads of juice to run it.
  7. Well the prism on the mac's is under the beamshape domain, does this mean I cant have 8 gobos on pallets and then 6 different prism movments on pallets as well, with out the prism pallets knockin the gobos out, when recalled live.
  8. Found a great site check it out. http://roadie.net/glossary.htm
  9. Ya it's a pain, just nudge the next sub to 5% and it will stop, providing you don't have movement on that sub too. :? I think they're sorting that out in the next software release.
  10. Is there anyway of storing pre-programed shapes from the effects generator to pallets, would be a great idea.
  11. After the worst ever getin known to mankind, six flights of narrow stairs, low ceiling, no power to speak of, and of course being mad late I decided to run the show on the fly and programmed the pallets for 12 mac 250+'s. I programmed colour, gobo & prism onto the pallets, BUT when recalling the pallets during the show trouble. I had a gobo in and when i selected the prism from the pallets the gobo disappeared, is this a bug or just a f**k up on my part?. Anywho i'm away to bed head is flyin 8O
  12. Yep thats it, multiple fixtures just like patching of generics
  13. If the pallet locking thing is going to happen, will this also lock the screen, and would it be possible to make 2448 large boxes to enter the pallet info, much easier to find when under pressure.
  14. Is there any chance of been able to patch multiple fixtures to a fixture button WITH OUT changing their addersses, ie.. was in a club for a three night stint using house dmx run(too lasy to run mine!) and instead of rerouting the house dmx from foh back to the twit box(dj) could have been easier to patch all their fixtures to the fatfrog and push the magic frog button :?
  15. Whats wrong with using pallets for changing colour/beamshape, otherwise you will have tape(used to mark subs)down to your knees. Is there any componants just under the subs? was thinking of tryin to install a homemade "role a cue" linked to the two switches already there? DONT TELL AVO.
  16. If your movers aint tagged(yellow led on fixture button flashing) they wont be recorded to your subs/memorys. :?
  17. Get a longer desk lamp

    Non-Dim

Try the flash button, then raise the sub. 108 subs you wont run out in a hurry.

    blagging tips

It's rigged for a show thats running aor some time now, you'll just have to make do with whats up there. Ofcourse you can use all the movers.. that usualy keeps them happy.
  23. Why not do all your programming of palettes on the phantom frog, then transfer it to the desk. I have four disks with different show styles on them, rock, pub, slow & trad. Seems to work fine when time is short.
  24. WOW! Only for I can run the desk that last explanation was a real head wrecker
  25. The backspace doesn't work on the external keyboard, :!:
