Malvern Posted Saturday at 06:53 PM Report Posted Saturday at 06:53 PM Is anyone experiencing the same problem I’m having. I’m operating on software version 8 build. Operating 3 Chauvet Rouge 2 wash moving heads. When I fade out pressing the go button on the main stack the Moving heads, instead of just fading out and staying in the position they were programmed in they move to the home position with the colour going back to white. Because of that the Move on Dark doesn’t work so when I press the go Button again the lights in full view move to the new position. Exasperating. Anyone any ideas to correct this. I didn’t have this problem with any other software version Peter Allman Quote

Archie D Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Just putting what I posted on the Zero 88 Users Group here in case anybody needs a solution to the same problem. Quote Hi Peter, please could you try the following? First of all, save a copy of your show file so you can revert back to it if something here goes wrong. Then, navigate to the cue which is causing you problems (the one where the movers fade out and are meant to stay in their position and colour), select the movers and hit the home button top left of the internal touchscreen. This sets the fixtures to their home values and tags all parameters (that's the important bit). Now you'll want to tap UPDATE (hold it down until the window appears if you only use the internal touchscreen - this behaviour can be configured in SETUP. Tapping it will open it instantly on the external monitor) > Tap 'Remove' in the update options window so it has a red indicator while also ensuring 'Cue Only' in the update options also has a red indicator (this then only applies changes for this cue and prevents tracking through) > Tap 'Smart Tag' so it has a blue indicator (disabled) > GO. This removes all data for those fixtures in that cue, therefore allowing the data from the previous cue(s) to track through into this one. Now, to get the fixtures to go dark, you'll want to bring them to 0 intensity (via the channel faders or the syntax keypad in the Z/Shift menu). Now repeat the update process via UPDATE (hold down if necessary) > Ensure you're still updating the 'problematic' cue and 'Cue Only' has a red indicator > GO. If you need, you can then switch Smart Tag back on via just opening the update or record options window (holding either RECORD or UPDATE), then tapping 'Smart Tag' so it has a red indicator, then closing out of those windows by tapping the relevant RECORD or UPDATE button again (don't press GO, that will submit a record or update action). Give this a try and let me know how it goes.
