Importing Fixtures to a sirius 500

Hi all,

I'm having dificulty in loading fixture data from floppy to my sirius 500.

I have used the fiture type editor to import from the fixture library and then exported it as a uft for use in sirius 250/500, copied this file to a floppy that I formatted in the desk first but when trying to load, desk will not accept the file, says there are no fixture type files on the disc.

I'm pretty sure it's a schoolboy error that I'm making, just need someone to point it out !

Thanks

Rob

Hi Keith, I completely forgot I had posted here, things rather overtook me. I ended up writing a fixture profile directly into the desk but it would be good to know where I'm going wrong with the fixture tools software. I'm using version 2.6.

Another question is how do I get the Sirrus 500 to remember brightness submaster information on power up as although I can re load the show each time it does become tedious and I'm sure that I read somewhere that there are a couple of bios settings that can be altered to make it do this.

Finally, my LX guy has reported that one of the thumbwheels is becoming stiff to operate, do you have any replacements?

Cheers

Rob
