robhurt Posted February 8, 2017 Report Posted February 8, 2017 Hello All I'm slightly confused. I have some lovely LED strip bars which are split into 8 segments each. I have created a chase where the each segment follows the other. I have set the speed to the maximum 600 beats per minute but it's still far too slow for the effect I am after. Is there a way to increase the speed of the chase to a custom level? Also, with the same LED strip bars, when I go into effects I can't see a random strobe option. Is there an easy way to create this? Thanks everyone! Rob
Edward Posted February 8, 2017 Report Posted February 8, 2017 I believe in chase settings (SETUP + MFF Number the chase is programmed on) once you've set the BPM you can then press a soft button that says "Double Speed". I may be wrong though. For the random strobing, with all the "segment" fixtures selected, select the "Chase" effect palette, and then holding the SHIFT button, use the encoder wheel for "Offset" and keep spinning it until you are happy the strobing is random. Edward Posted February 9, 2017 Report Posted February 9, 2017 Having a look this morning, you can't go faster than 600BPM, however this should be plenty fast enough as that's advancing a cue 10 times per second. If you send the file over I can always take a look into why it's not running as expected. Edward
