Hello, As Kevin and Thierry say, if you have 2 playbacks which have information for the same fixture, whichever you raise most recently controls the fixture, due to Colour, Beam and Position in playbacks mixing Latest Takes Precedence. As Kevin mentions, for better mixing, don't record whole lighting states on playbacks. Instead of having 2 colour scenes on faders, have lots of single colour scenes you can mix between. As well as achieving better mixing, this also gives you added flexibility of the lighting states you can create. Thanks very much @kgallen for linking to those. If you have any questions let us know. Hi Eric, No problem. It sounds like the fixture's manual is therefore incorrect, if you have tried the replacement fixtures and are still experiencing difficulty. You can change the RGBW defaults to 0 if you wish, to avoid the fixture coming on despite the dimmer being down. Edward

Hi Eric, This is purely for testing purposes, so you can work out what the channels do. This matches the fixture file. When you find this information, we will be able to modify the fixture file, and send it back to you. It sounds like the "Dimmer" parameter is more like a shutter. Hi Kay, The default fades for Intensity, Colour and Position are 3 seconds. However, the first cue in a playback will always default to a 0 second fade on intensity. This therefore gives you control of the intensity using the fader, rather than a fade automatically running. Therefore when @sossy stored this effect as a single cue on a playback, intensity was 0 seconds and position was 3, so they became out of sync. He could therefore dial out the fade time for position in that playback, or he could have changed the position defaults before storing. Hope this helps, Edward

Hi Kay, To change the fade time defaults, tap SETUP -> Defaults -> Cue Fades. You can then set them to be the same if you wish. Edward

Hi Jakob, Yes, both playbacks and channels can be named, and their names can then been viewed in the faders window. To name playbacks, press and hold SETUP and tap the playback's button to open the Playback Settings. Then tap Advanced, and tap playback name to give it a name. You can either use the onscreen keyboard or an external USB keyboard. A shortcut to access the playback settings, is to view the faders window on the touchscreen, and then press the on-screen fader. To name a channel, press SETUP, and then tap the channel button you wish to name. You can then tap Change Names to give it a name. You can select multiple channels at once if you wish, and change all of their names at the same time. Hope this helps, Edward

Hi Eric, I have taken a look at the LEDSTAGE Zoom Led Par fixture. Correctly, Red, Green and Blue are defaulted to full, as there is a dimmer channel. However from your description it sounds like the dimmer channel on the fixture is not scaling these correctly. Are you able to email us a copy of the fixture's manual to FixtureSupport@zero88.com? If so we'll be able to check the fixture matches the personality for FLX. If you wish to use the fixture in 6 channel mode, I'd recommend patching 6 dimmer channels on FLX as you have done, and making a note of what each channel does. Make sure the address of the fixture matches the address of the first channel fader. Hope this helps, if you have any questions let us know. Edward

Hi Chris, Importing a .ift file would not cause this issue. It sounds like it just happens to be a coincidence. From the description it sounds as if it is a hardware fault with that wheel, and therefore a software update won't solve this. Event monitor will show you the signals the console is receiving from the various controls. The difficulty of the repair depends on the exact cause of the issue. If you are happy opening the console, it would be worth checking the wheel assembly is seated correctly. Hi Jakob, Welcome to the Zero 88 Forum. When using this effect, make sure both intensity and position fade times are the same. Otherwise one element of the effect will lag behind the other, and they won't be in sync. Therefore when you have recorded this onto a playback, press and hold VIEW and tap the playback's button, and then edit the cue fades so intensity and position match. Hope this helps, Edward

Hi Kay, After applying multiple effects, to remove one of them, tap the Effects tab, until you see "Exx Size", on the second encoder wheel, where xx is the number of the effect you wish to remove. For example "E21 Size" for the Auto Rainbow effect. The effect numbers are displayed in the auto effect palettes. Then dial the size to 0. The effect is then removed. To find out which effects are running, select your fixtures, tap Effect, and the active effects will be displayed on the wheels. Tap the Effect tab to cycle through the active effects. Hi Kay, When renumbering a cue stack, most people use this for 1:1 numbering, and so isn't an issue. However adding a number pad in this window is logged on our system as an enhancement (reference number ZOS-8681).
