so my software can do basic MIDI channel messages (Note On, Program Change etc) but not MIDI Show Control so is it possible with these to just trigger a GO on the main playback?

That's a shame. I always save my show file but might make a few changes as the show is running. Too much of a faff to save after every change. Can you copy cues between different playbacks?

how do we undo a cue update that was done in error? can a single cue/group of cues be recalled from a saved show if a overwrite was done in error? Thanks

did the universes show up in green on the LHS?

It doesn't work on my desk and Edward organised a demo desk and it doesn't work on that one either. I was just wondering if anyone had upgraded the software and had it working.

Hi, is anyone successfully using Artnet on 7.9.5?

Think they're all at ABTT so there will be radio silence for a while!

Hi Edward, I tried installing 7.9.5 and the same occurred. I have a link showing on my Artnet node but no activity. I set up a simple patch with my 15 LED PARS on universes 1 and 2 just to see but nothing shows up in the system info network page unlike 7.9.4 where it shows the streaming info. I've attached my file to see if I'm doing anything wrong. I've plugged the desk direct to the Artnet node bypassing my network. Simon artnet test.isf

Me too. Can't upgrade to get the new fx as Artnet isn't working.

Why is this? I have a technical network set up which enables me to talk to both my lighting and sound desks but also lets me receive emails and calls as there is no mobile coverage on the edge of a cliff.

getting better! Can this all be routed through a general network or does it have to be dedicated?

Hi Edward, It's not the palette copy that I'm after. What I used to be able to do on an old strand and I think the old Frog would be to copy all attributes from one fixture to another. The copy button on the frog IIRC used to have both channel and playback facility. The Strand desk had a copyfrom button so in syntax would be 58@copyfrom65enter and it would put 65 exactly as 58.

When you put selected fixtures in a palette colour it shows that name as the colour which is very helpful as we don't have a copy from function. Only trouble is that it doesn't show the name if a filter is selected. Is there any way this could be made to work?

How do I use the REMDIM via the remote software as I mainly use it whilst focussing?

Hi Jon, Sorry to hear about your colleague. I did try the technical support number and it just rang and the night service via the main number wasn't any better. Simon
