  1. Hi Matt

Your description is correct. Once you have a DMX address set on the fixtures, those faders will control the fixtures parameters corresponding to those channels. For example, if you set the fixture to DMX address 25 and its fixture personality was 1) Colour, 2)Gobo, 3)Pan, 4)Tilt, 5)Dimmer, then the faders would work as follows:

    25: Colour

    26: Gobo

    27: Pan

    28: Tilt

    29: Dimmer

    I hope this helps,

  2. Hi Stuart

With the latest software, check that you have Beamshape set to <Channel> in the Partial Mode settings - this means you can tag each beamshape attribute individually. In <All> mode, all channels under Beamshape will be tagged together.

    I hope this helps,

    Peter

  4. Hi Adam

Having taken a bit more of a look at the user manual for the fixture, it uses a funny sequence for its channels (Blue, Red, Green) rather than the conventional Red, Green, Blue.

Therefore I have attached a modified fixture profile for you to use with this fixture. You can load this into the desks using the Add Fixtures screen in Setup.

    Kind Regards,

    Peter

  5. Hi Adam, and welcome to the forum.

The Rainbow Pars will patch in as an "RGB Dimmer" which means you will get 4 control wheels on the desk - Red, Green, Blue and Dimmer. These are accessible on the Multi Function Keys, which can also be used for the auto-generated palettes or using the on-screen colour picker.

I hope this helps - let us know how you get on with the desk and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

    Kind Regards,

    Peter

  6. Hi Christian

You can go back to versions before 5.0.0, however you might come across a problem during the installation. If your desk fails to boot properly after installing, try the following:

    - Boot the USB Installer and select "Install Desk OS". Just as the message "Installing Bootloader." appears (this comes after "Formatting disk."), switch off the desk.

    - Switch the desk on again, and boot the USB Installer a second time. Select "Install Desk OS" again but this time let the install complete fully.

    - Switch off the desk, remove the USB memory stick, and switch on again. The desk should boot normally.

The root cause of this problem was fixed in version 5.0.0 software, so from version 5.0.0 onwards you don't have to do this to get a bootable desk.

    I hope this helps,

    Peter

  7. Hi Christian

As you can see in this topic, we've already identified the Groups thing - this is in progress of being fixed and we will release a new version soon to fix this one.

With regards the label being wrong, again this has been found - reference ZOS-2751.

Lastly, can you explain what happens on the ELO screens when you don't see the correct behaviour - does anything happen? Which model of ELO screen are you using?

    Thanks,

    Peter

  8. Hi Jon

The speed of the chase is stored along with the chase steps - if you go back into Program mode, select a step and set the speed you require, then when you overwrite the step (by pressing the PROGRAM/GO button and selecting <Overwrite>), the chase will output at the speed you have defined.

    I hope this helps,

    Peter

  9. Hi Kev

    * Double click a position fade time in a cue stack. First encoder say delay (changes both fade and delay time) The 2nd fader says delay..just does fade.

This has been logged as a bug - reference ZOS-2751

    * Home/highlight doesnt take out effect pallet.

I can't recreate this one - can you give me some more information or a show file I can try?

    Thanks,

    PEter
