  1. Hi @glitcher0 Please could you confirm the current software version installed on your console? If you haven't created any custom macros, I would recommend clearing all fixture macros. To do this tap SETUP -> Clear Options -> Clear Macros. Then, exit SETUP, and hold SHIFT and tap MACRO, to open the Macros window. You should see a Automatically Create Macros button available if your fixtures have fixture macros available. If you save a copy of your show file to a USB drive and email this to us, we can investigate. If you have any questions, please let me know. Edward
  2. Hi @glitcher0 The VariLite VL2500 Wash fixture personality has 4 fixture macros available: [Fixture Display 100%] [Fixture Global Reset] [Lamp Off] [Lamp On] These will be created after patching the fixture and tapping Automatically Create Macros in the Macros window. If this doesn't appear to be working for you, please email us a copy of your show file to support@zero88.com, and we will take a look. Edward
  3. Hi @thierry I have just emailed you a link. If you have any questions, please let me know. Edward
  4. Hi @thierry If you have a show file saved in ZerOS 7.10, you will not be able to load it into ZerOS 7.9.9. Therefore if you have a ZerOS 7.10 show file you wish to use, or need to control multicell fixtures, I would recommend updating to the beta version. If you do not have a ZerOS 7.10 show file, and do not need to control multicell fixtures, I would recommend rolling back to ZerOS 7.9.9. ZerOS 7.9.9 can be downloaded from the link below... https://zero88.com/storage/downloads/607844fa-0fdf-401a-9e42-29c8fac4e7bf/ZerOS-7.9.9.5.zip Hope this helps, Edward
  5. Hi Eric, The PDF export of the ZerOS online manual is available here... https://zero88.com/storage/downloads/manuals/zeros-en.pdf Hope this helps, Edward
  6. Hi Eric, The "ZerOS Library" format, that was introduced in ZerOS 7.9.8 software, uses a completely different database to the original Zero 88 Global Library. There is therefore no guarantee that the less-common fixtures will be included in the ZerOS Library. I have raised the priority of these fixtures, to get these added to a future ZerOS Library release. There are four Cameo PAR 64 fixtures in ZerOS Library 3.0. Please email us a copy of your fixture's manual to fixturesupport@zero88.com, and we will investigate. These fixtures are already included in ZerOS Library 3.0. If you cannot find them, please email us a copy of the fixture's manuals to fixturesupport@zero88.com, and we will investigate. Fixtures in the original .ift format, will remain compatible with future versions of ZerOS. Individual .ift files can be downloaded from the link below... https://zero88.com/fixtures/legacy-library/Legacy library (gft41.0)/ Electroconcept fixtures are available here... https://zero88.com/fixtures/legacy-library/Legacy library (gft41.0)/ELECTROCONCEPT/ Ledstage fixtures are available here... https://zero88.com/fixtures/legacy-library/Legacy library (gft41.0)/LEDSTAGE/ I hope this helps. If you have any questions, please let us know. Edward
  7. Hi @thierry Sorry to hear you have encountered a crash. Thank you for sharing the debug file. This is an issue we are aware of in ZerOS 7.10 software, related to opening the Fixture Levels window on Solution consoles. We have a beta version that fixes this issue. If you would like access to the beta version, please let me know, and I would be happy to share this with you. This issue will be fixed in the next ZerOS software release. If you have any questions, please let us know. Edward
  8. Hi @Ed75 There is not a document available that lists features that have not come to Orb consoles. All Orb & OrbXF specific documentation is available here... https://zero88.com/control/orb Edward
  9. Hi @Ed75 Orb consoles are currently still supported, and can run the latest versions of ZerOS. There are several features not available on Orb, that are on the standard FLX, due to hardware limitations. As the software continues to develop, more features that come to FLX will not also be able to come to Orb. Edward
  10. Hi @Jouper Great, pleased to hear it. 🙂 Edward
  11. Hi @Jouper Sorry to hear you have encountered a crash with Phantom ZerOS running as a Solution console. This is an issue we are aware of in ZerOS 7.10, related to opening the Fixture Levels window. We have a beta version that fixes this issue. If you would like access to the beta version, please let me know, and I would be happy to share this with you. This issue will be fixed in the next ZerOS software release. If you have any questions, please let us know. Edward
  12. Hi @Ed75 I presume this is the standard Orb, not OrbXF? As with most things, this comes down to cost. The Orb is different to all other consoles that run ZerOS, in that it doesn't have channel faders. Orb was discontinued 2 years before the standard FLX was launched. Edward
  13. Hi @Jouper As @thierry suggests, you can achieve your white strobe effect, if you ensure that you record all the necessary information for your fixtures. As attributes in playbacks mix Latest Takes Precedence, raising your white strobe effect will be the most recent instruction for your fixtures, and so it will take over from the other active playbacks for the fixtures. If you are using an effect, rather than a fixture's Strobe parameter, you will need to ensure you set the playback's intensity mixing to Latest Takes Precedence. See the link below for more information... https://zero88.com/manuals/zeros/cues-playbacks/playback-settings/general Hope this helps. Edward
  14. Hi @droiddk Many thanks for the suggestion. Speed Override does not adjust the Size of an effect, whereas Fader Controls Effect adjusts both the Speed and Size. Thanks for the suggestion Kevin. Potentially this could lead to advanced tracking options such as "track forwards to the end of "Act 1"". Edward
  15. Hi @droiddk That is correct - when you record cues, the cues will be recorded using the tracking options at the point of recording. It therefore doesn't matter how you start recording a cue stack, as you could go and make changes with different tracking options later. We find that most people program with Cue Only, but then enable Tracking for those situations where you need to edit a value for a light, or add a new value for a light, and want that change to take affect in multiple subsequent cues. Really pleased to hear it. Edward
  16. Hi @droiddk If you'd like to understand how the tracking options and SmartTag work together, I'd recommend watching the in-depth training video below... This is to do with SmartTag. When you have SmartTag enabled, the console is deciding what does, and what doesn't get included when you record your cues. In this situation, you have recorded six cues, where a fixture was at the same level in every cue. SmartTag has therefore taken the decision to not record this fixture into every single cue, as there is no need. Instead, it can simply be recorded in cue 1, and then track through. If you were to update any of your cues, or record a cue out of order when Cue Only is enabled, ZerOS will make sure that the cue that follows looks exactly how you programmed it. Hope this helps. Edward
  17. Hi Thierry, No problem at all. If you have any questions, as always just let us know. Edward
  18. Hi Thierry, The Robin 600e Spots were available in the ZerOS Library format in ZerOS 7.9.8. You therefore could have converted the fixtures in your show file to the library equivalents, in ZerOS 7.9.8 or later. Edward
  19. Hi Thierry, In ZerOS 7.9.7 and earlier, ZerOS used the Zero 88 Global Fixture Library format, that was also used by many legacy Zero 88 consoles. In ZerOS 7.9.8, we introduced the new ZerOS Library format, which includes far more fixtures, and more importantly far more detailed information about the fixtures. This has allowed us to implement features such as multicell, plus new features coming in the next software release, that we wouldn't have previously been able to implement. Fixtures don't have to be converted, but it is recommended. Fixtures that used the "legacy" format can continue to be used in the same way. For example, the original version of the Robin 600e Spot can be downloaded from the link below... https://zero88.com/fixtures/legacy-library/Legacy library (gft41.0)/ROBE/Robin 600E Spot.ift This was described in the software release notes, and the ZerOS 7.9.8 introductory video... Hope this helps, Edward
  20. Hi @droiddk No problem at all. Makes sense - saves an extra press of the Go button 🙂 Edward
  21. Hi @droiddk Thank you very much for your description of what you are seeing. In this situation, you are starting a colour effect, when there is already a colour effect running. This means depending on the colour values of the previous cue, there is no guarantee the colour effect will be synchronised. To ensure a colour effect is synchronised, you will need to go into the effect, from a cue where there is no colour effect running. Therefore, if cue 1 was your Red Sparkle, and cue 2 was your Green Sparkle, you could have a cue 1.5, which stops the Red Sparkle effect, to allow you to then go into a synchronised Green Sparkle effect in cue 2. Hope this helps. Edward
  22. Hi Thierry, If the fixture originated from the ZerOS Library, there shouldn't have been any change in fixture macro functionality. Please feel free to send us a copy of your show file where the macros didn't seem to be working correctly, and we will take a look. Please email it to support@zero88.com Edward
  23. Hi Thierry, To clarify, the fixture macros will only be different in ZerOS 7.10, if the personality for the Robe fixture you were using previously, was NOT from the ZerOS Library. If it was a custom fixture file, or a fixture from a legacy show file, this will be a different version of the Robe fixture personality, which will have slightly different macros. Edward
  24. Hi Thierry, Thank you for the update, glad to hear the macros are now working. When the macros were not working, had you patched this fixture from the library, or had you been using this fixture loaded from an earlier show file? If you were using the fixture from a legacy show file, the fixture may have been using a different format, and so the macros may have been different. Edward
  25. Hi @naes I would recommend updating your console's software, to ensure you are learning an up-to-date version. Please click the link below, to download up-to-date software for Solution consoles... https://zero88.com/storage/downloads/607844fa-0fdf-401a-9e42-29c8fac4e7bf/ZerOS-7.9.9.5.zip Once downloaded, extract/unzip the files, and then copy the ZerOS .exe file (NOT Phantom ZerOS) onto a USB drive. Before updating your software, please save a copy of your console's show file to a USB drive first. To do this, please tap the SETUP button, and choose Save File. You can then save the show to a connected USB drive. Click the link below for installation instructions... https://zero88.com/manuals/zeros/setup/load/zeros-software Once installed, you will be able to load your show file back into the console from your USB drive if required. For more information, please see the link below... https://zero88.com/manuals/zeros/setup/load/zeros-show-files Our live-streamed training videos are available here, which may be useful to help get you started... https://zero88.com/live I hope this helps. If you have any questions, please let us know. Edward
