  1. Hi Richie, Welcome to the Zero 88 Forum. I have just taken a look at the fixture profile for this in version 39 of the fixture library, and I can confirm both basic and advanced modes match the channel map listed in the fixture's manual... https://www.chauvetprofessional.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/Q-Wash_360Z-LED_UM_Rev_01e_DC-MG_Signed_2011-05-18.pdf To confirm the version of the fixture library you are currently using, on the console tap Z/Shift -> System Information. Can you confirm the mode and DMX match on both the console and the fixture? If you have any questions let me know. Edward
  2. Hi Remi, Welcome to the Zero 88 Forum. If you select your movers, apply a circle effect, choose No Offset, and then fan the offset using "Fan V", you will see that the first pair of fixtures pan together, then the next pair, and so on working outwards. This is correct, however what you are after is for example the Stage Right fixtures to mirror the Stage Left fixtures. The easiest way to do that, is tap SETUP, select either the stage right or stage left fixtures, and then under Invert, Invert Both the pan and tilt for these fixtures. Now if you come out of Setup, select the fixture and simply apply a circle effect, the fixtures will work in/out from the middle. Changing the invert options will result in all existing programming being affected, so just be aware of this. Hope this helps, Edward
  3. Hello, Yes if you don’t mind, a quick video would be great. Cheers Edward
  4. Hello, No, there is no limit to the number of connected remotes/monitors. That’s odd - all Remotes and Monitors should be able to view independent desktops/displays. In an older software version, all monitors would have to share the same external desktop. Please ensure you are running ZerOS 7.9.7. To confirm, tap Z/Shift -> System Information. This is probably the quota limit for your account on the forum. We’ll look to increase this for you. Hope this helps, Edward
  5. Hello, To turn off Guidance, tap the X in the top right corner of the guidance panel. To reopen, tap Z/Shift -> Guidance. Hope this helps, Edward
  6. Hi Tereva, Welcome to the Zero 88 Forum. It sounds like this fixture doesn’t have the Zoom parameter defined with a special of “Zoom” in the fixture library. This can be updated using the Fixture Editor software, available to download from our website. To do this download the fixture library and fixture editor onto a PC, import the fixture you need to edit from the library into the fixture editor, go to the fixture’s parameters and find Zoom, and then under properties choose a special of “Zoom”. You can then give the fixture a new name, save the file, and then load the fixture file into your console. Fixture tools can be downloaded here... https://zero88.com/library#tools Alternatively, send us an email to fixturesupport@zero88.com, and one of the team will be able to update the fixture file for you. Hope this helps, if you have any questions let me know. Edward
  7. Hi Tim, OK thanks for the information. Hope you manage to find a work around. If you have any questions let me know. Edward
  8. Hi Tim, Hmm sorry to hear you're still struggling with this. The 1 device will be the console itself - in ArtNet the console also counts as one of the connected devices. Many others have had success connecting Realizzer with FLX S, so I'm not sure what the issue is here. Are you running the latest version of Realizzer? Is there any window in Realizzer which shows ArtNet input? Is there any way of mapping ArtNet universes to Realizzer universes? If you would like to try the version of Capture visualisation software we use for demonstrations and training, see below... http://support.zero88.com/1004254221 If you have any questions let me know. Edward
  9. Hi Tim, With your current network setup, in Wireshark, you should see ArtPoll packets from FLX S every couple of seconds. I wouldn’t have thought so, I certainly haven’t come across this myself. Even the simplest switches can support “10BaseT”, which should be good up to 40 universes of ArtNet. Yes, to do this simply connect the PC and console with a single Ethernet cable. For this you obviously won’t be able to use DHCP. Give this a go and let me know how you get on. Edward
  10. Hi Tim, This is correct. That means it is looking for any devices with an IP of 192.168.178.x. 255.255.255.255 is a limited broadcast address, which shouldn’t be used. Realizzer should reply with a directed broadcast (192.168.178.255). If you haven’t tried already, try setting static IPs and subnets for the PC and console, and see if you have any luck. If you have any questions let me know. Edward
  11. Hi Tim, Welcome to the Zero 88 forum. I’m not at my laptop at the moment, so can’t look at the show file currently. From your description, it sounds like it is configured correctly on the FLX S24. From @bungeefield description, Realizzer names ArtNet universe 0 “Universe 1” (just to add to the confusion!). Therefore if you are using Universe 1 onwards in Realizzer, ensure on FLX S24 you tap SETUP -> Universes -> ArtNet -> Reset to Defaults -> Starting at 0. So I’m guessing your network is simply FLX S24 and PC plugged into a switch? And this switch also has a DHCP server built in? If you tap Z/Shift -> System Information -> Network overview, ensure ArtNet is transmitting on the intended IP. The best network test tool in this situation to use is Wireshark, available from the Wireshark website here... https://www.wireshark.org/ If you run this, you will be able to see if ArtNet is reaching the PC. In Wireshark, you will see ArtPoll packets as FLX S is “polling” the network to see what’s out there. You will not see ArtDMX, unless an ArtNet responder has asked for a universe to receive. Therefore if Realizzer is set to receive the universes correctly, you will then see ArtDMX routed to the PC. If you aren’t getting any data from any software package, have you checked Windows Firewall settings? Hope this helps, if you have any questions let me know. Edward
  12. No problem, any questions let me know. Edward
  13. Hello, When in global cue only mode, cues are still not stored as block cues. If they were, this would stop move on dark working. You therefore still have the option to store a Snapshot in global cue only mode, by holding SHIFT and tapping RECORD, to store a block cue. Hope this helps, Edward
  14. Hello, If you can't see the SmartTag button within the Record or Update options, this means you are in global Cue Only mode, with tracking options disabled. In this mode, you won't be able to access the SmartTag option. To enable tracking options, tap SETUP -> Settings, and under Record & Update, enable tracking options. Tap SETUP to save and exit, and you will then be able to access the SmartTag option, when you press and hold either RECORD or UPDATE. Even though tracking options are now enabled, if you don't wish to program with tracking, ensure that in the Record or Update options, Cue Only is selected indicated with a red stripe, rather than Track Forwards. Apologies, forgot you were using FLX S, not FLX. EFFECT + HOME is only available on FLX consoles. To stop your effects from running on FLX S, you can simply tap effect palette 1, which is "No Effect". Hope this helps, if you have any questions let me know. Edward
  15. Hello, If you find effects are continuing to move when your fixtures are off, go into the cue, select the fixtures, hold EFFECT and tap HOME, then tap UPDATE, and ensure SmartTag is disabled. You can then tap your playback’s button. Hope this helps, Edward
  16. Hello, Yes change profiles allows to to repatch a fixture to a different type, or different mode. All existing programming is then applied to the new fixture. Hope this helps, Edward
  17. Hello, When you switch the console on, the Grand Master defaults at full. Otherwise, if a fader on page 2 for example was a grand master, after booting the console there would be no light output until you found the correct fader, and pushed it up. Hope this helps, Edward
  18. Hello, This behaviour isn’t documented, however is the correct behaviour. When it flashes slowly, it means the fader isn’t at full. Hope this helps, Edward
  19. Hello, That is correct, "Change All Names" allows you to change the names of all the currently selected fixtures. "Change All Profiles" allows you to change this all the currently selected fixture's personalities to another fixture personality. Hope this helps, Edward
  20. Hi Eric, There will not be a manual for ZerOS 7.9.7, as ZerOS 7.9.7 is only a minor revision of ZerOS 7.9.6. Feature requests are something we are always keen to listen to. Most feature requests are logged on our system. Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to put a date, or a version, when these will be included in ZerOS. Hope this helps, Edward
  21. Hi Eric, Thanks for sending this across, I can confirm we have received this. We will get back to you as soon as possible. Edward
  22. Hi Eric, All custom fixture files can be removed from the console, by tapping SETUP -> Clear Options -> Clear Fixture Files. Fixtures contained in the library cannot be removed. It is a good idea to name custom fixture files in a way to avoid duplicates, such as adding "v2" to the end. Hope this helps, Edward
  23. Hi Eric, They're much nicer to use as you don't have to press as hard, plus as I mentioned also allow for multitouch so you can fan using the colour picker externally. Edward
  24. Hi Bruce, An effect (chase) cannot be placed directly onto a manual master (submaster). However, an effect in the memory stack can be transferred to a manual master (as per page 22 of the manual). See page 11 for information on how to transfer a memory to a manual master. Hope this helps, Edward
