  1. Hi All!

I've just bought some led moving heads that you dont have a file for!!! (This is a first for me in many years)! So I've created my fixture.... I want to create an auto macro for it to reset...., When i use the editor, add macro, add step.....save.... When i re-open the fixture file the macro commands, The Macro has not been saved?

  2. Hi Zero88

Unfortunately I must say how disappointed I am that there still hasn’t been a update to fix this bug.. The iphone app has become a fantastic tool for us, but we terrified to use it and tiptoe around the iphone in case we pick it up and freeze the desk...

I’m really surprised that a bug that total freezes the desk hasn’t been sorted. It’s been months!

  3. Hello

I was just wondering if there ever going to be a update for the remote? From reading through these forms it seems apparent most users want to be able to run cues and record pallets and have been asking for this for ages!!

  4. i miss "release"

If om busking a show... i record a sub with my mac 250 washes focused and in position... when i pull the fader up and then back down, i want it to stay in its position from the sub, so when i use it again there in that palce.... at the mo the only way i can do this is by using a udk and latching it with the position and focus... which is a pain and a wast of a button.

  5. I've just got my Iphone, I used to use a windows based phone with the remote.......

So an Iphone zero88 app would be cool!

But i have to say the current remote software is fairly basic compared to other lighting desks.....

  6. Hello Zero 88!

Ourlovely ORB was sent away the other day to be fixed, so out came our little JESTER ML! We normal use this desk to do lighting demo on stage to students and workshops etc.....

I know you know have the wonderful Jester TL for theatre programming, but this wasn't around when we bought the desk....Sometimes we have to use our JESTER ML while the orb is busy elsewhere or being fixed/updated. It be really fab if you could allow a usb keypad to access the 24 "dimmers". I can see how this may be close to the TL, but the ML would only allow 24 dimmers compared to the TL 200.....

and....... I'm prob being stupid but is there no way of seeing the pallets on the screen...

    Thanks

    Kev

  7. * Double click a position fade time in a cue stack. First encoder say delay (changes both fade and delay time) The 2nd fader says delay..just does fade.

    * Home/highlight doesnt take out effect pallet.

  8. I finding a few things hard while programing the orb, compared to using the FROG 2. I have some suggestion which i feel users of the ORB will find helpfull...

    * The first is looking up and down from the mointors and keypad while programing. Is there anyway of displaying the command line in the screen above the keypad? i.e. could one of the "more Screen" display the command line.

On another note, I feel it would be an advantage to have FADE, DELAY and Vaule on thoses keys while programing on the desk as well as pre and next. Then on the 2nd page have Park, unpark and Knock out.

Apart from that I'm gettig on fine with the desk.

  9. got the desk 2day!

Only one thing i dont get, i load a cue stack into the master playback... Why does the cue stack fader have to be up and the playback fader up at 100%? Cant i just load a cue stack into the master playback, and leave the stack fader down?

    But good work guys

  10. Im really getting on well with the frog 2's remote...

I found that by combing the remote with a small 12 channel desk going into the frog 2 dmx in. I was able to operate a basic show frog my wings while leaving the frog plugged in the control room :)

But I would like to ask for 2 extra features.

    * Up,down,left,right.......why?.... so that we can go highlight x, Left/right....... and use it 2 quickly bring up the next channel.. Note... Nice big buttons, size of pallets would be grand!

    * could also use the up/down to control the channel output?

    * GO, Pause, on virtual stack.........why?....... so that you can run a stack from the sound desk if your short staffed :) ...again big buttons

Hope my suggestions will be of some use??
