  1. The icons are now fixed too (quicker than expected!)
  2. The forum has been unexpectedly offline for around 11 hours today. Apologies for the inconvenience. Everything appears functional, apart from icons which are failing to display – we’re working on this!
  3. We've released a BETA version of ZerOS which supports "Fixture builder within ZerOS" and "GDTF support", along with various other new features. If you would like to be involved in testing this software, please drop us an email to Support@Zero88.com
  4. Yes, so long as the features are shared across the consoles - you’re fine. So, for example, FLX supports 240 groups, whereas FLX S24 supports 48 groups - so groups 49 - 240 will be lost
  5. Hi Max, In addition to everything Edward's already said - can you describe the sort of effect(s) you’d like to achieve that you can’t currently do on FLX S? It would be good to take this into account in future developments. Thanks!
  6. We'll also be reducing the brightness of the red in 7.13 to help mitigate these alarm bells! ZerOS has always (within my time, at least!) stored patched fixtures within the showfile and used that if the library fixture was different. However, as the library format hardly ever changed, no one ever knew and so it caused no problems. Over the past couple of years we've made significant improvements to the library, and so we needed to provide an "upgrade" mechanism to utilise these new features (and a way of indicated this was possible).
  7. LOL! Zero 88 is a brand within Signify - that isn't changing - so the Signify address remains - no change there! Sadly I joined the team too late to have an @zero88.com email address... my history is: @cooperindustries.com @eaton.com @cooperlighting.com @signify.com I've averaged an address every three years... it's a great way to avoid the spam bots 😂
  8. The "official" news is here: https://www.vari-lite.com/global/about/signify The three brands (Vari-Lite, Strand, and Zero 88) are already a single team, so no change there. No current products will be rebranded.
  9. It’s been lovely to speed up releases now that two+ years of big “behind the scenes” changes are complete (library, multi-cell, multi-emitter). Looking forward to the next release, targeting within the next two months!
  10. Yes, I'd definitely see this being a custom dimmer curve, where you stay at 0% for the first 1/10th, then fade up to 100% over 8/10th, and then stay at 100% intensity for the last 1/10th.
  11. Dear All, We’re excited to announce the availability of ZerOS 7.12, a new update for consoles and servers running the ZerOS Operating System. New Features include: KiNET support Vision.Net support Philips Hue support Updated fonts & improved font rendering ZerOS Library 3.2 Various enhancements and bug fixes Please see the Release Notes for full details. The Online Manual has also been updated to support all the new features: https://zero88.com/manuals/zeros ZerOS 7.12, Phantom ZerOS 7.12 (offline editor) and the Release Notes can be found at zero88.com/zeros If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at support@zero88.com Kind regards, Jon
  12. Hi @CestM0i64, we have a thread where you can vote for features you'd like to see - I suggest voting there!
  13. Apologies, you're completely correct - I was on my mobile and didn't notice that minor (!) detail. As usual, ignore me and read what Edward says 🙂
  14. For screws: ORB: https://zero88.com/storage/downloads/c1fe1a80-25f9-4155-9d01-31c241a10ac8/orb-access-diagram.pdf ORB XF: https://zero88.com/storage/downloads/f6bb58da-c63a-41dd-b467-efb049a85503/orb-xf-access-diagram.pdf (These are both available from the ORB Product Page: https://zero88.com/control/orb) Once you're inside, you should easily see the CR2032 battery on the main processor board (the board screwed to the bottom of the console)
  15. There’s no current date yet, no. We’re in the middle of testing it currently
  16. There’s no plan to stop this topic, we’ll just keep updating it by adding new ideas and removing the ideas we implement - like we’ve already done when we released ZerOS 7.11:
  17. Deep Red = "Deep Re" Red Orange = "Red Orn" Light Green = "LightGr" Mint Green = "Mint Gr" Green Cyan = "Grn Cya" Royal Blue = "RoyalBl" Deep Blue = "DeepBlu" Congo Blue = "CongoBl"
  18. Thanks Kevin - sounds like a very typical setup for ZerOS users so it's great to hear the new features are being used and appear to be appreciated!
  19. How are you finding the updated filter data and the updated colour algorithms when using a mixed rig of LEDs and “real” gels?
  20. Hopefully they are, they’d love to hear this!
  21. Also worth noting that Philips Hue will only be available on FLX S, FLX and ZerOS Server. It will not be available on Solution Series, ORB Series, SCD Server Pro or Leapfrog 48 & 96. KiNet and Vision.Net will be available across all platforms.
  22. It’s not “slow”, but you just can’t guarantee a simultaneous fade on DMX luminaires and Hue luminaires will be perfectly in sync. We’re still working on tidying it up, so performance might improve.
  23. You connect and “pair” to a Hue Bridge, and then all connected luminaires are automatically patched (just like RigSync). Once complete, you control the fixtures like any other fixtures. However, it’s worth noting that you don’t see the same speed and responsiveness that you do with DMX based luminaires.
