Paul Bennett 211 Posted November 2, 2023 Report Share Posted November 2, 2023 Hi Looking for some advice on what people are using for this. All I want to do is control my light desk using a PC. I have asked about this before and tried the software suggested. QLABs is mac only and we don't use macs. I had a look at this and it does do what I need. All i need is a timeline i can drop an audio file on then add MSC to different parts of the song to control the lights. What i like about Qlabs is the timeline view. But as we can't use apple in school i looked at SCS SCS does what I want with MSC but the time line sucks. I want to be able to zoom into the timeline so I can put the MSC command exactly where I want without having to play the track and almost to try guess. Another software package I am aware of is "CSC Show Control". However, please note that I have no experience with this software, so you'd have to do your research to see if it does what you want. Just need some software where you can drop a MSC command into the track in the places required. It's proving quite difficult to find something. Just to be clear, "CSC Show Control", is different to "SCS Show Cue System". If neither achieve what you're after, unfortunately I'm not sure of any others! Oh of course - I’d forgotten Multiplay. I did actually use Multiplay on a couple of shows many moons ago - I just used it for audio though, not triggers.
