  1. Sounds like you are in tracking mode, which allows any changes you make to 'track' through (if you want to add that channel into multiple memories, for example). You can completely turn this functionality off by going into SETUP > Desk Setup > Memory Defaults and then turn off tracking. Or, if you think you may want to use tracking, you can press 'Special' and turn on 'Cue Only' which, when on, will only update the cue you are in.
  2. Have you tried both MBR images (both 'A' and 'B')? Are you an administrator of your computer? Which operating system are you using?
  3. Looks good. The only change I would make, which doesn't affect André as he's using a Jester, is to format the 'long name' like this: 240 8 RGB Bar : 2 Channels 240 8 RGB Bar : 3 Channels 240 8 RGB Bar : 5 Channels 240 8 RGB Bar : 24 Channels ZerOS sees the 'space colon space' as an instruction that the 'model name' has finished and the 'mode name' has started. This is used in the Patch Wizard when you choose the model first, and then the mode. Stairville 240 RGB Bar (1).ift
  4. Hi Hundy, Are you an administrator of the computer you are using? If you aren't, that could be the problem. If you are, have a read through this: http://zero88.com/forum/topic/6503-advice-when-performing-zeros-software-upgrades/ Best regards Jon
  5. You only get those pre-programmed functions in 2 channel mode, not in 24 channel mode.
  6. No problems. You can either create the effect yourself, or go to SETUP > Auto Menus > Auto Palettes, and ZerOS will automatically create some effect palettes. Press SHIFT+EFFECT to open the effect window, and choose 'Rainbow' (effect 28 if you've done auto palettes and there were no effect palettes programmed previously). Now, press 'Effect' and on the wheels you will see 'Offset'. Hold shift whilst moving that wheel, and the offset will get fan'd across all those fixtures. If you press SETUP+EFFECT you can press 'Shifted Wheel Mode' and choose how you would like it to be fan'd. There are several options including Fan First, Fan Middle, Fan Last and Fan V.
  7. Zero 88 are pleased to announce the launch of ZerOS version 7.8 software - a new software release for ORB Series, Solution Series, SCD Sever, FROG2 and Leap Frog 48 & 96 consoles. This update is recommended for all users. More information can be found at http://zero88.com/software/zeros A full list of changes are available in the Release notes. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at the office. Out contact details are: email: support@zero88.com phone: 01633 838088 Best Regards,
  8. Hi André, The file Mike has kindly created is a single fixture profile, not a full library. To use this, go into SETUP, choose 'Assign Fixtures', then 'Add Fixtures', and on the multifunctional keys, instead of choosing 'Fixture Library', choose 'USB' instead. Everything else will be the same - the console will ask you to select the manufacture, then the fixture type, etc etc Hope this helps Jon
  9. Hi Nick, If you can describe exactly what you are trying to create, maybe we can point you in the right direction? Regards Jon
  10. Hi Sam, I've unlocked your account. The Beta Forum is available here: http://zero88.com/forum/forum/137-beta-test/ Please ensure you read this thread first: http://zero88.com/forum/topic/6563-important-information-instructions-please-read/ Please let me know how you get on. Best regards, Jon
  11. Hi Sam, We've made this process a lot more secure in our next software update. The Release Candidate of the software has been released, and we're hoping to publically release this by the end of the week. Probably best to give that a try. You can either wait for the public release, or I can give you access to the beta software? Regards Jon
  12. (On the Leapfrog 48 & 96, once you patch this, you can go into SETUP > PATCH > EDIT FIXTURES, select your fixtures on the MultiFunctional Key, choose 'Topset' and change the topset on the dimmer channel so it doesn't go above the value keith mentioned above).
  13. Hi Charles, We support the legacy Windows Mobile, but not Windows Phone Regards Jon

    Usb Light

As long as it's within USB 1.0 specification (which presumably it would be) then it will work fine :-)
  15. Hi DmatejD, On the Solution go to SETUP > Network > Wings and change 'Enable Wings' to 'Yes'. The IP address of the console and the IP address of the wings need to be the same for the first three 'parts' but different for the last 'part', so for example: 192.168.1.5 192.168.1.6 Hope this helps
  16. Hi greggr1, What's the IP address of the console and of your tablet? Regards Jon
  17. Hi Lars, Please find the fixture attached Zoom LED MJ-1006B.ift Regards Jon
  18. Hi Mattdyas, This sounds like a tracking issue. Can you post your showfile up and let us know which chase you are getting the problem in?
  19. Hi AxelfromSect, Which console are you using this on? The 48 channel version is just 12 x RGBA, so you get a lot more control of the unit if you patch it as 12 separate RGBA fixtures (found within 'Standard Fixtures' when selecting the manufacture). Best regards, Jon
  20. We have updated the Linux Kernel we use for 7.8, which will be released shortly. This means a greater range of touch screens should be supported in this release. I'd be happy to send you some beta code so you could try it? We don't recommend running shows on beta software, so you will need to try the beta, and then backdate your console back to release software. If you would like to give it a try, please send me an email (address in my signature below). Many Thanks Jon
  21. GoPowers, As I said, if manufactures kept to standards - all touch screen monitors would work with ZerOS. However, unfortunately, they don't. The support within our Linux kernel are for the touch component that is used within consumer touch screens. Without knowing which manufacture made the touch component of the touch screen you list, it's hard to say if it will be supported or not. Touch Screen manufactures could also change touch component half way through production, making it even harder to track down. I've listed a good value, good quality, touch screen monitor which has been tried and tested, and that is currently available in various sizes - what else would you like to know?
  22. Sounds like a good way to upset the DSM when they have to change every cue point in their book! Once a memory is recorded, we try never to change the number of that memory, as it's often written in various scripts etc, and from experience when this changes it creates a lot of confusion. A much better way is, as Ian has suggested, to use point cues.
  23. Hi John, Probably easier to chat over the phone for this one. When will you have a chance to be in front of the desk? (edited the title!)
