  1. Hi Phil, No problem, let me know if I can help with anything else. Edward
  2. Hi Philip, The cause of this is the way it has been programmed. The fixture that is causing problems must have been panned the long way round to get to the desired position. There are many ways to solve this issue. Personally, I would go into cue 1, select my fixtures, and move them both so that they are in the position I want, moving them in the shortest path possible. Then, record this position as a position palette. To do this tap RECORD -> POSITION -> Choose an MFK to record to. It's always a good idea to record palettes for pretty much everything you're doing, so that if you need to update the position you can simply update a single palette. It also makes it easier to recall certain positions. On Solution consoles you have the ability to record 400 position palettes, so you don't need to worry about running out in a hurry. Now, double tap CLEAR, and go into cue 2 in your cue stack - your mover will again fly all the way round the wrong direction. Select both fixtures, and apply the palette you just programmed. You should find one fixture barely moves, and the other swings back round to the correct position. Then tap UPDATE, and tap the playback's button to update the cue. Hope this helps, if you have any queries just let me know. Edward
  3. Hi Rob, Just to confirm, Effect 2 through to Effect 10 all seem to be giving you a figure of 8, apart from Effect 7 (Vertical Line) which is working? This is the case even when the fixture is tilted away from the home position? Do you have any other moving heads patched in? If you apply the effects to these do you get the same results? Do the other effects such as those for colour and intensity appear to be working with the MAC 600? Feel free to send a copy of your show file to support@zero88.com with a description of the issue, and one of the team will be able to take a look for you. Edward
  4. Hello, Ah that makes perfect sense. Glad that works for you. If you have any questions just let me know. Edward
  5. Hi Julian, Just to confirm, what are you using Playback 1's fader for? By default, the playback's fader will scale the level of the intensity of the effects in the playback. For playback 2 to control the intensity of playback 1, you will need to set up playback 2 as an inhibit fader. To do this, select your fixtures in the group contained in playback 1, and turn the fixtures on to full. Then tap RECORD, and tap playback 2 to store it their. Then, making sure you are in Playbacks fader function, hold SETUP and tap Playback 2's button. Then from the Intensity mixing options choose Inhibit, and click OK on the settings window. Now, Playback 2 will act as an intensity master across the whole console for these fixtures. With Intensity Effects, the Size parameter defines how large the intensity range is on the fixtures. For example with a simple Fader effect, with Size at 100 the fixture will range from 0-100% - a range of 100%. If you then reduce the fixture's intensity to 25%, and the Size down to 50%, the fixture will then range from 0-50% - a range of 50%. If you then set a fixture's intensity at 50% for example, and set the intensity effect size to 50, the fixture with then be in the range of 25%-75% - still a range of 50%. Hope this helps, if you have any queries let me know. Edward
  6. Hi Piero, Unfortunately I don’t believe there is, as the App Store only allows for one active version of the app. Edward
  7. Hi Alex, There aren’t currently any plans to update the Fixture Editor, however this is something we can bear in mind. A better solution may be to have up/ down arrows at the end of each parameter row, which you could use to reorder the parameters within their attribute. Edward
  8. Hello, Yes, it is possible to Go back through a cue stack, as well as Go forwards. The button under each playback can have 2 different behaviours, one for when it is pressed, and a shifted function for when the button is pressed with the SHIFT key held down. You can therefore configure pressing the playback button to Go forwards, and holding SHIFT and pressing the button to go back. To customise this hold SETUP and tap the Playback's button. At the bottom of the Settings window is a button function option. If you hold SHIFT, you will see the red stripe move from Go (Fade), to Go (Snap). With SHIFT held down, choose "Pause" from the options, release the SHIFT key, and then click OK on the settings window. Now, when you hold SHIFT and tap the playback button, it will act as a Pause if a cue transition is in progress, or a Go back if the transition has completed. You can read more about Playback Settings here... http://support.zero88.com/1077997011 Hope this helps, any queries let me know. Edward
  9. Hello, Thanks very much for letting us know. Edward
  10. Hi Sven, Great, glad to hear it! Just let me know if there is anything else I can do. Edward
  11. Hi Rob, As Kevin mentions, this could be due to the Speed and Size parameters. If you have not Panned or Tilted your fixtures and they are still in their 50/50 home position, try adjusting their position, and then apply the effects. You should then find that for example a circle effect looks like a circle. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. Edward
  12. Hi Benjamin, Yes that's correct, that LCD is part of a larger PCB. I may be biased, but yes, putting the money towards a new FLX S24 would certainly sound like a better investment to me! For your information, the order code for the TL Panel PCB is 1216399. Any queries let me know. Edward
  13. Hi Simon, For this, your best bet is to create this as a “Shutter” parameter, with a default value of 134. Then tick the “Scale by Virtual Intensity” box for the parameter. Then add a Brightness parameter named “Dimmer”, with a default of 255, and tick the “Virtual Parameter” box. This will grey out the DMX address field. This dimmer will then by default scale the shutter parameter between 0-134, giving you a dimmer. If you do then need to access the strobe, you can then adjust the Shutter parameter. There isn’t a way to split a parameter, but this method should achieve what your after. Hope this helps and makes sense, any queries let me know. Edward
  14. Hi Carpo, There isn’t a dedicated Move/ Copy function on FLX S consoles - copying groups is something you can do on FLX. Therefore your best bet is ensure there are no fixtures selected, select your group, tap RECORD, and choose your new location. Then Delete the group from the old location. If you find they fade from white to the recorded colour, this is due to the cue colour fade. You can edit this by holding VIEW and tap the playback’s button, and then select the colour fade and adjust to 0 seconds using the encoder wheels. If you wish to remove all colour data from the playback, raise the playback, select the fixtures, hold CLEAR and tap the colour tab, so that the colour parameters become tagged (alternatively jog one of the colour encoder wheels to tag them). Then hold UPDATE and deselect SmartTag, choose Remove, and then tap the playback’ button to complete the update. This is then going to remove any tagged information from the playback. Hope this helps, any queries let me know. Edward
  15. Hi Carpo, No problem. Just let me know if there’s anything else I can help with. Edward
  16. Hi Carpo, Chaser is the best effect to use for a standard strobe. You can then speed it up to suit. You can then customise it by configuring Size and Offset values across the fixtures. If you’d like the fixture to spend more time on, use a Mark On effect, and if you’d like the fixtures to spend more time off, use a Mark Off. When dealing with quick strobe effects, you may find you get to a certain speed where it will start to get messy. This is due to the refresh rate of the DMX signal and the fixtures themselves recieving it- if they miss one of the “on” or “off” messages, it doesn’t look as clean or sharp as you may want. This is why having a dedicated strobe channel on a fixture comes in handy. Hope this helps, any queries let me know. Edward
  17. Hi David, No problem. Keep me posted if there is anything else I can do to help. Edward
  18. Hi Josh, Yes you certainly can connect a touch screen laptop to FLX S. You’ll be able to connect the console and your laptop with a single Ethernet cable, and then run the ZerOS Remote Monitor software on your laptop. Information on how to connect your laptop to give you an external screen can be found here... http://support.zero88.com/999689141 If you have any queries with this just let me know. Edward
  19. Hi Sven, OK no problem. Let me know how you get on. Edward
  20. Hi Sven, You can access Test Mode by holding the SETUP key down when you power the console. When in Test Mode choose Other Test, where STOL (Sound to Light) status is displayed. Check this display to ensure you are receiving an audio signal. The Jack input is wired in the standard tip being left, ring being right, sleeve being signal ground. These are then merged and the console listens to the low frequency of both channels (you could therefore essentially use 2 audio sources, with left input from one and right input from another). Any queries let me know. Edward
  21. Hi Sven, Sound to Light can be enabled for any chase. To do this hold SETUP and tap the chase’s button, and then enable Sound to Light. The bass input of the incoming audio signal will then trigger these chases. I would recommend sending the console a bass-filtered signal if you don’t feel the console is triggering on the correct beat. It is also worth ensuring the source as a volume control, so you can adjust the audio level to suit. Global BPM is completely seperate to Sound to Light, and will mix LTP with Sound to Light to control the speed of a chase, so I would recommend disabling Global BPM for chases with Sound to Light to avoid confusion. You are able to view a graphic EQ of the incoming audio signal in Test mode if you wish. Hope this helps, any queries let me know. Edward
  22. Hi David, On FLX you can still do this if you wish, but also apply a fade time using Programmer Time. Correct, FLX will allow you to output a single cue from each playback at a time. If however there were 2 cues in a playback you wanted to output at the same time, you could make a copy of this playback, to allow the original to output one of the cues and the copy to output the other. Programmer Time is commonly used for busking, and in conjunction will speed faders for effect rates there are many different ways to configure the console to busk. There’s more information on Programmer Time here... http://support.zero88.com/1011402011 All cues have the ability to trigger macros. Therefore to trigger macros via MIDI, you could program a blank cue with a macro trigger, that can then be triggered via MIDI / close-contact triggers. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any queries. Edward
  23. Hi Simon, This sounds as though the playback's Intensity Mixing and the Fader Function have been changed. The default Intensity Mix for a playback is HTP. It sounds however like yours may be LTP, meaning that when you raise a playback, fixtures controlled by this playback will go to the intensity level of this playback, rather than mix. The default Fader Function is HTP Master, meaning the fader will scale the intensity of the currently active cue. Other options allow for the fader movement to advance the cues. All of these settings can be found in the Playback Settings, by holding SETUP and tapping the Playback you wish to configure. You are more than welcome to drop us an email to support@zero88.com with a copy of your show file, and one of the team will be able to take a look and see where the issue may be. Any queries just let me know. Edward
  24. Hi Mark, As Kevin mention, ZerOS currently handles colour mixing support for CMY, or RGBW colour mixing. The main reason for this is best understood in terms of a colour picker- along the top of the picker are points where there is pure red at full, pure green at full, and pure blue at full. White is then added in with the Y axis of the colour picker. The question is, where to put these other LED emitters in the picker, and how will these effect the levels of RGBW. This is something we are working on, to ensure that the most accurate amount of colour control is available with emitters other than RGBW. For now, you will therefore have to use the encoders to dial these parameters in - this is where your palettes will come in very handy, as if you find a filter you like, you can then tweak the levels of the other emitters, to make the colour richer or more subtle, and record as a palette. Hope this helps, any queries let me know. Edward
  25. Hi LisaEkbom, Any empty playback can be configured to be a Grand Master, it doesn’t have to be the Master Playback. If you’d like the Master Playback to be a Grand Master, copy your existing playback to an empty playback by tapping Z/Shift -> Copy -> Tap the Master Playback -> Tap a flashing empty playback to copy to. Then tap DELETE -> tap your Master Playback, then hold SETUP + tap your Master Playback. You can then choose Grand Master from the options and click OK. To go back and view your cue stack again, hold VIEW and tap the Playback button you copied to. If you don’t feel confident deleting playbacks, make sure you save a copy of your show first to a USB stick, then if you Delete the wrong playback you can simply load your show file back in. Hope this helps Edward
